My purchase of this charger betrayed my doubts as to whether it would be the right charger or whether or not it would work, but when it arrived, I was delighted to find it was the right charger, and it did work! Since I have been using it for three weeks to a month, it does not have any problems charging. Taking a chance on this charger like I did is definitely worth it if you own a Nintendo DS Lite and need a charger. Having access to my DS again has been such a great feeling. I'll just give you the short and sweet version It works, I've had it for over a month with no issue. It's the right cable for the Nintendo DS Lite.
This purchase should have been avoided, I'm so upset by how terrible the charger was. I wasn't sure it would work, as it came in a beat up box (fast shipping however) and was so cheaply made that when I plugged it in, I thought I'd broken it. perfectly with no problem, the only thing is that it is charging for a half-second each time I plug it in. A number of outlets were tested and even the cord was wiggled. There is nothing! Piece of art Oh my gosh! The hassle of returning it isn't even worth it!.
When I ordered this product, I thought I would get a semi-finished product Third party charger for my DS Lite that appears to be decent sadly, my low expectations were not even met when I received it. There was a serious problem with the charger's build quality. There was a noticeable difference in the length of the cord compared to the charger from the first party. I strongly advise you not to buy! It is unsafe! After being plugged in, the product shorted out and blew a circuit. I bought this cheaper product over the OEM one because I thought I could save some money. The next day, I realized my mistake. My initial intention was to return the item, however, the seller has a no-return policy, and I'm not going to deal with Amazon for six It's a good thing I didn't give it to my kid first because there's no point in a lifetime warranty if you die from it.

It is possible that you will not get the results you expect if you purchase this. As apparently the manufacturer does not maintain good quality control, the first one I got died on arrival and the second died a week after arrival.
