PHILIPS SGP5012 Retractable AC/DC Charger for Nintendo DS Lite & Sony PSP

A versatile tool like this one is hard to find. As a result of its ability to charge the relatively obscure Gameboy Micro, this particular charger was bought. The portable console also has a PSP, DS Lite, and SP, so it doesn't go to waste. It also has retractable cords, which is a big plus for those who are always on the move. In all my experiences with it, it has always charged my gaming systems as it was supposed to. There is scope for expansion, as long as you can find an adapter for charging your DSi using a PSP charger. (I personally think someone at Nintendo needs to be beaten with a pipe wrench for changing the charger port with every new unit considered every GBA starting with the SP all the way to the DSi - I agree. The same voltage is used for both the XL and XL XL)

Sony's original plug had a tendency to pull out readily, but this one is much tighter and less likely to do so. There are a few cons There were some differences with the adapters, but they could not all fit into the included case. Personally, I think the included case was a bit flimsy. It is a thin, flat wire, so I am worried about the durability of it. Because it is retractable, I am also concerned about its flexibility. It might not last forever, but you can be careful with it. My PSP has finally been downloaded again, and I'm happy I can now play it. My battery isn't completely dead, so I was delighted to find out. Having trouble charging with a USB cable, and having the battery deceased before, my regular AC Adapter wasn't working either. Since I am able to play PSP games through the battery and the PSP will even turn on without a battery in the system, I am glad to learn it does not need to buffer power through the battery or just about anything else.

In this case, the fix was a two-part repair for a PSP purchased on Ebay. Before it shipped, they did not let me know it was missing a battery cover and, "oh by the way, it doesn't come with a charger either. ". It was important that I find a replacement charger that was cheap, but also well reviewed. This charger is great in every way except the build quality is really nice!.

Initially, I was searching for a DS Lite charger when I stumbled across this website. Considering I also have a PSP, I thought it would be worth the purchase, and so far it's worked fine. In addition to the retractable cord, it has a very compact design. You no longer need to keep bundles of cords and wires clumped up in drawers. In addition to the attachment box, there is a compartment for the screws. There are no real surprises in the charging times as far as I can tell they are about the same as they always have been. As far as the car charging port goes, I haven't tested it yet, but if it works properly, this can be a real treat. The game is recommended for fans of portable games.

Charged my Gameboy Advance SP with this charger. The Gameboy would not launch after plugging it twice into it. It is possible that a piece of the metal connector came off and recessed further into the charging port. I wasn't able to remove the piece without causing damage to the charging port. The charging port on the Gameboy Micro is still functional, otherwise I would have sent it back. It is a flimsy piece of equipment at best. I would not recommend buying it.
