It's kind of true. It's important to state the obvious. As long as this charger performs as advertised, it will be adequate. It allowed me to keep playing on my 3DS XL when my regular charger was lost while traveling because I was able to use it. Although this charger does leave a lot to be desired, it doesn't quite live up to expectations. There are several problems with it, including its slow speed. My 3DS XL took five hours to fully recharge and I didn't use it at all during this time. **I also found that the 3DS doesn't like being charged while playing at the same time. The charge light would flicker while charging, and this was The issue might be that the power is not enough, but I have no idea how it works. As a gamer, I have noticed that there is an noticeable flicker to the charge light As soon as I reduced the screen brightness on my 3DS from 5 (maximum level) to 3 the flickering slowed down, but it was still there. recommend you use the charger that came with your system (or a replacement from the same manufacturer. need a charge to get by while traveling or on a tight budget, this charger will work for you. It's not something I would recommend using on a regular basis.

The cable is 3 feet, which sounds like it should be long enough, but I believe it is the shortest charging cable I have from a wall outlet. Three feet is fine for USB chargers, but might be too short for a wall outlet charging cable. The box artwork was odd, I am unsure if I would have recognized it at first glance as a charger, and I would likely have missed it if I was looking for one in a store. However, this may be entirely my own fault in this regard. The job has been ongoing for six months.

enjoy the fact that the 3ds stuff has gone down in price so much since the 3ds XL was released. was able to pick up an extended-life battery for $3 and a guy like this for The overall experience doesn't stand out much. I would have had no problem buying it for $13 even. However, one dollar would do. I'd get them even if they were 75. For security reasons, I bought one for my home, one for my girlfriend's house, and one for my parents' house, so that I will never run out of power. The company could be taking a huge loss on them, I only hope.

We plugged in the charger right out of the box, hooked it up to our 3D and it worked right away. Therefore, so far, we have not had any issues with the charger fit into the 3DS. The dog ate up the other charger, so this was a good buy for us. This is the only problem I can find with the charger, it only has a cord of about 3 feet.
