In order to charge my daughter's nintendo ds (pink), I bought this charger. However, what I received was different than what is depicted in the picture. As you can see from the photo, it is the right cable, but the one I received is a firewire 800 cable. I don't think it fits. The non-profit organization does not receive any funding A returnable item. It would have been better for me to listen to I am sorry for not taking you up on that. It is not possible to fit that cable into.
Getting negative 5 stars if there were an option would be a good decision since it works fine for some Nintendo products but it's not a ds lite charger. They don't offer returns so I would give it negative 5 stars if that were.
Seller won't accept returns, as has been stated by others. Doesn't work as claimed, as stated by others.
Rather than being disappointed with my purchase, this is the first time I have been disappointed with an Amazon purchase. In spite of its generic nature, it is still capable of charging your computer. I have a problem with the cord. It will not keep a steady charge, and if I move the device in any way, it "disconnects. ". I would prefer it if I didn't have to sit my DS in a certain manner to charge it, since I don't wave my DS around. It would need to stay connected properly in order for it to work.
I did not get it to fit my DS lite as it indicated.
The owner of the beloved DS Lite will be amazed to know that there is a charger for the device. During the course of purging some items in my home, I found my old storage unit. I was able to locate the charger for my unit, but I lost the charger by accident. It surprised me how fast this seller found me and how affordable the price was. As for the item, I'm very pleased with it and I would support this seller again if my needs again arise.
A few days after our annual Independence Day family reunion, I discovered this had been left behind by one of the grandkids. My calculations revealed that it would be more economical to buy this and have it delivered directly to her rather than mail it to was worried about the fact that it was a generic version, but she now has it and says that it works fine. Hopefully she can pick up the old one when she returns next year.
There is no charge on the charger. We bought a device that looks similar to it at Best Buy and it works just fine. It wasn't worth shipping it back for $6 but let that serve as a warning to anyone else who might be tempted to do the same.
