YoRHa Dust & Water Proof Universal Travel Carrying Hard Case for Dual Any Regular Sized Controller e.g. PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Switch Pro, Stadia etc.

Because I only have so much space, I have to put my PS4 in storage now that I have a PS5. I needed a more convenient (and less likely to be misplaced) way to store my extra controllers than individual cases. I bought this case because it said it fit PS4 controllers and there were no other options. br>br>As soon as it arrived, I tried it out right away, eager to get rid of my controllers before they got damaged. I removed the pre-cut foam in the shape of an "Xbox" controller from the case and replaced it with my own. There's no foam on top, and there's a gap between them and the lid where cables or other items can be stored. br>br>I immediately noticed how loose they were, but decided to give it a try with the "spill" method—they tumbled out right away. "OK," I said, "let me zip it up and see if they stay secure since I'm not going to be opening it very often. " "br>br>They shook and shook and shook and shook and shook and shook and shook and shook Isn't that kind of defeating the purpose? As you can see in one of the photos, I was able to fit two fingers between the foam's edge and the controller. That is the amount of extra room available. br>br>I even tried it with my PS5 and Switch Pro controllers, which are both a bit bigger. With the PS5, you can see the difference. br>br>Though the Switch controller fit more snugly than I had anticipated (not pictured), it still rattled around and fell out easily. br>br>I expect that anything other than an Xbox or Steam controller (or something similar) will be secured in this container. br>br>I believe they would have been better protected, less likely to fall out, and wouldn't rattle around if they had included a thin piece of foam to place on top of the controllers. And it wouldn't have been much more expensive, and it could have always been left out if no one needed it. Very dissatisfied. br>br> I'm going to return it tomorrow and look for a better option.

In general, the case went as planned. A good foam insert to keep the controller in place and keep it from clacking against each other. A mesh storage pocket at the top could be used to store games or joycons, which could be useful or annoying depending on your perspective. br>One of the main reasons I gave this a three-star rating is because The padding on the controllers does not go all the way around. There is no padding on the top or bottom. Given that this is a travel case, I believe that this is an oversight that is not worth the asking price, so it will be returned.

I was pleased with the product's quality. The only criticism I have is that the foam was cut a little too wide, causing the controllers to wiggle a little. What I did to fix it worked perfectly, and the controllers now fit perfectly and snugly. Everything is included, so you can do it. All you have to do is use a utility knife to slice the foam inserts you removed from the package into a thin 1/4" flat piece and place it on the bottom of the case for the controller to "sit on. " " This gives the controller the extra oomph it needs to fit snugly in the case, and I'm loving it now. " The zipper is sturdy, and the large cable pocket on top is a nice touch. I'm sure I'll enjoy using it and would purchase it again. They could only improve it by wrapping the top in plastic. This would give me more confidence in the event that the top was crushed by something heavy and the analog sticks were destroyed- When I chose this item, however, I was aware of what I was getting. If you're looking for something that can withstand being crushed, this is the place to go. For three or four times the price, get a Pelican case.

To begin, I'd like to point out that this is a fairly sturdy case that can accommodate controllers from a variety of platforms, including Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo, Google Stadia, Steam, and most aftermarket controllers. I have five of these cases, which house my PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch Pro, Stadia, and Steam controllers. To begin, they'll fit almost every controller snugly, with enough room to close the case while keeping your thumbstick extenders and back buttons in place. Because my Nintendo Switch Pro controller is a little smaller than my PS3 controllers, it wiggles around a little. To keep it from bouncing around while traveling, I sliced one of the foam inserts in half and placed it on top of the controller before closing the lid. This prevents the controller from moving and provides some additional protection. Now, I saw somewhere that these cases press down on the buttons, causing damage to the controller; however, I build and repair controllers, and this is not the case. The controller buttons will not be damaged even if the foam insert is cut in half and placed on top of the controller, and the case is closed. br>br>Prosbr>br>Pricebr>Durabilitybr>Sizebr>Qualitybr>Roombr>Protectionbr>br>br>Conbr>br>The foam was a little smelly (Lysol fixed that problem)br>Wish you could label the outside of the case br>br>Aside from that, it's a great case for the money, and it definitely protects your controllers.

These two controllers were kept in my Tesla Model Y's storage area beneath the wireless charging pad, which is also where you'd plug them in anyway if you wanted to play games in the car. However, I wanted to begin storing other items that I used more frequently, and I wasn't playing games as much as I used to, so I needed a different storage solution. That's where this case comes in handy. It perfectly fits both wired controllers, and it also fits underneath the front passenger seat of my car for easy access when we want to play games. br>br>The zipper glides smoothly and the case is of good quality. It's a hard case with a mesh pocket for other accessories, which I like.

I bought two of these primarily to keep the dust off of my numerous controllers; It works, so that's good. Naturally, this is true. br>br>For two different systems, I have five controllers; I keep one out at all times and rotate them. This is a VERY first-world "problem" that could have been easily solved by simply draping a cloth over my controllers, but it also helps with storage and space management, as I only have so much space in my apartment.
