It's very sturdy when properly assembled, and it can be configured in a variety of ways. You could even drill this if you want to do something that isn't supported by the current templates. When your feet are on the pedals, it's very sturdy. Pulling on the steering wheel, shifter, or handbrake while standing up may give the wrong impression. It's just not the way things work here. In that case, it may tilt slightly, but your feet will always be on it while it is in use. The vibration when shifting or using the handbrake is excessive, but it does provide some feedback, so it's a win-win situation. br>br>Even though I'm taller than most people, I had no trouble configuring it for myself. The pedals and wheel are very simple to adjust. I like how heavy this thing is, and it's pretty heavy with all of the equipment on it. For some people, this may be a problem. If that's the case, I'd strongly advise using a dolly. This isn't a toy, and folding it can be difficult. br>br>Locking roller blade style casters are also a good option for your chair. This allows you to sit in your regular computer chair without having to stuff things behind it and deal with the mess. Even when fully braking, I do not move at all. Over longer sessions, you'll be much more comfortable than in the cheaper bucket "racing" seats you'll see. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this method.
- One of my feet appears to be "stripped. " Three of them screwed in perfectly, but one simply slid in and locked. I have to shim that leg on my floor because it's in further than the others. This is probably my biggest flaw, and it necessitated me correcting an out-of-control situation. a problem with the box On a carpet, this might not be a problem.

- It would be nice if there was a way to route the cables. I'm going to use neoprene sleeves because I'm worried about some of these thin Fanatec RJ45 cables getting tangled in the pedals or being damaged when folded.

- Where the shifter arm connects to the main stand, there is no padding or vibration absorption; it would have been nice to have SOMETHING here to reduce vibration. I'll most likely add something of my own. - br>br>- br>br>- br>br>- br According to customer reviews, this company may be difficult to contact if you have a problem. For this reason, I ordered it through Amazon Prime rather than through their website. One non-essential item was missing from my list. One foot was stripped as well as an important part (one of the extra square brackets). I'm going to send them an email and see what happens. After talking with them, I'll update the review.

I was pleasantly surprised by the strength of this stand. I've always wanted a full-fledged rig with a seat, but we simply don't have the space. The stand performs admirably and allows for a wide range of adjustments. My Fanatec gear was mounted with plenty of hardware. To mount both the shifter and the hand brake, I had to experiment with the shifter mount (which is also very solid). To get the pieces closer to me and lower, I used the mounting plate in a vertical position. To connect the cable, I had to drill one hole in the plate. When fully loaded with gear, the entire unit is quite heavy, but it is still portable. My wife, on the other hand, won't be moving it. If you don't mind the extra weight, this is a good option.

It's $60 less than the Wheel Stand Pro, $100 less than the Next Level wheel stand, and, in my experience, it's the most sturdy. This is the best stationary wheel stand; I don't have enough room in my house for a full rig, so this is the next best thing. 100% stable It pulls my chair back; I had to figure out a way to keep my dining room table chair still, but the Apex does not. There is no sway. I don't have to worry about a car moving when I throw it into a turn with full FFB. br>br>From what I can tell, there are three styles: a center pole to hold your wheel (wheel stand pro), the old omega (which isn't a triangle, but an overhanging stand), and this new stand, which is a full triangle and provides the most support and sturdiness architecturally. br>br>First, I tried the wheel stand pro, which worked fine. I'm a clutch guy, so the center bar was more of an annoyance than a deal breaker. Because of the obvious limitations of physics, it isn't a good model for everyday use. It's a decent wheel stand, no problem, if you're an F1 driver doing 360-degree rotations. However, if you're drifting or off-road racing with hard yanks of the wheel, it won't work. br>br>Because it weighs in at around 40 pounds, this isn't a stand you'll use every day. It will fold in and out of itself, but I think moving it would be too difficult. I'm fortunate in that I have a permanent home for it. It's fantastic. br>br>It's fantastic. This is ideal for me.

DO YOU CARE NOW THAT I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION? The stand arrived in a traditional containerized cardboard box, well wrapped and protected, and weighed quite a bit. I then got my handtruck after assisting the Amazon Driver in placing it on the ground. I was extremely pleased with my purchase after opening the box, removing all of the accessories, and assembling the stand. Despite the fact that it was one of the more expensive stands (and that price does not always equate to quality), THIS STAND WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY. Parts for various steering wheels, pedals, and shifters are included in this very comprehensive package. I'm using a Logitech 920 system with a shifter, and the stand has served me well thus far. br>While the stand can be disassembled for storage, I would not recommend doing so on a regular basis. If you're short on space, I'd recommend purchasing a setup that bolts to your desk or keyboard, and sticking the pedals to the floor with sticky tape. br>The adjustments for this stand are infinite, which, according to most Theoretical Physicists, should satisfy anyone. But please don't take my word for it. br>By using the thoughtfully provided bolts and washers, the equipment is bolted to the stand. I like that the bolts are included, as it saves me from having to go to Home Depot and return with the bases to find the right bolts. br>Think I'm joking? Many toys, furniture, and other items used to come with instructions like that. However, I am beginning to show my age. The majority of you have never used a dial phone before. br>To make a long story short, I am very pleased with my decision to purchase this stand for my Logitech racing setup. br>It is very sturdy, well made, comes with everything you need and more, folds up when not in use, adjusts in more ways than I can think of, and anyone who says anything negative about this stand is probably not from this planet. br>Best wishes, Joe from Northern California,br>.
