Xbox Wireless Controller – Daystrike Camo Special Edition for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 Devices

In less than a month, I've acquired my second controller! The verdict is in: The Xbox controller has been ruined, if not completely killed, by Microsoft. This is the second controller I've bought in the last two months. Despite the fact that this is my first day with it and it is brand new, I can already tell it will have the same issue as my other two Xbox One (usb type c) controllers. A small foam strip about half an inch wide is cheaply glued beneath the Right Trigger to help "dampen" the trigger pull and prevent the trigger mechanism from hitting the plastic and causing noise; it took all but three weeks for that strip to semi-harden. While playing a game, they rip off and land in my hands. It took two months for my previous controller to arrive. Given that the pad is already coming off, I'm going to give this one a month as well. Is there a way to get rid of it? br>br>Is there a way to get rid of it? Yes. However, here's the thing: In contrast to the Xbox 360 controller, Microsoft made these newer controllers much more difficult to open. Instead of removing a few screws with a cheap tip, you'll have to pry your controller case open, which will almost certainly break it. After that, pray you don't break anything inside, and then remove what's left of the foam and scrub the glue off vigorously. While this worked for my previous controller, the left joystick began to have registration problems a week later, rendering it unusable for single-player or multiplayer games. br>br>I only use this controller for Rocket League on PC, and it becomes unusable when it develops issues like the ones mentioned. The newer controllers' build quality is abysmal, and it's insane that this is now Microsoft's standard for quality. I was a heavy user of Xbox 360 controllers for a long time, and the rubber buttons pads would wear out long before anything else. These controllers were never dropped or abused because I take great care of all of my equipment. br>Here's what I'd say to you: Avoid it at all costs. Purchase old stock that is brand new. This item is no longer worth the money, and the controller will eventually fail. br>Recent changes: It's impossible for me to believe, but it's already stuck! I believe this controller was exposed to extreme heat, which melted the glue that held the piece of cheap thin foam in place. Returned.

It's a fantastic controller at an excellent price, and I would strongly advise you to purchase it if you're on the fence. I used to use PS4 controllers, which I thought were better quality, until I got this one for use on my PC, and I can happily say that the build quality is just as good, if not better, than my PS4 controllers. I'll definitely be buying another controller for my son because the camo design is awesome and the plastic isn't cheap. Purchase one and see for yourself; you will not be disappointed!.

This is a replacement for one of my Xbox One controllers. The controller has a great design. Works well on the Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. I like the new capturing button because it eliminates the need to open the menu. Simply hold down the button and continue to play. This controller is something I would recommend to anyone looking to update their Xbox controllers. I also like the lb/rb buttons and the gripped triggers. It's less sweaty this way.

This controller's description is incorrectly worded. It claims that you can connect the controller to your computer via USB and use a companion app (Xbox accessories) to use it. That is misleading because the controller will turn on, but the computer will not recognize it in the app or in device manager.

I thought I had ordered a brand new controller, but it appears that this one has issues with the buttons and analogue sticks. Sometimes the xbox controller won't let me depress the buttons far enough to perform the action required for each one. It's as if I never pressed it at all, despite the fact that I have pressed it several times. The sticks cling to each other and do not move as freely as they should. I assumed that by using them more frequently, they would become more flexible and that I would simply need to break them in, but this is not the case, and I'm not sure what is.

The controller is one of the most notable console innovations. A mouse and keyboard simply cannot compete with a controller in action adventure, driving, flying, or platform fighting games. The wireless controller for the Xbox is also fantastic. The wireless connection is always stable, and because it only requires AA batteries, I have the impression that it will last me a long time. Also, with the exception of a USB-connected keyboard, the controller functions as a wired keyboard. c connection for charging and syncing The only drawback is that the controller is not hot swappable, which means that if the switch underneath the joystick and buttons fails, you won't be able to replace all of the buttons without soldering. To replace all of the buttons, you'll need an Xbox Elite controller, which is far too expensive in my opinion.
