For PC, this is an excellent controller
5/5

The controller is excellent for use with a computer. The Bluetooth feature, however, does not work with Steam right out of the box. There are a few things you'll need to do to make it work. 1. br>br> The Xbox Accessory App is available for download from the Microsoft Store.
2. Use a USB cable to connect the controller to your computer. 3. C cablebr> 4. Make changes to the controllerbr> Connect to Bluetooth devices on Windows devicesbr>5. Observe the first three steps. 3 Remove the device from "Bluetooth devices" and repair it. Then everything should go smoothly. The size of the controller is comparable to that of previous Xbox controllers. br>br>Battery: br>br>Battery: br>br>Battery: I can't speak to battery life because I just received it, but I'm sure many of you will have a rechargeable battery. I'm about 15 feet away from my TV/desktop, so the range appears to be adequate. br>br>Overall, it's a far superior controller to my PlayStation 4 controller. It works as expected with Windows 10, and the buttons are automatically mapped once you've set it up with Steam.

Finally, I'm using a controller to play PC games (: If you already have a Bluetooth dongle or Bluetooth capabilities for your PC, you DO NOT need to purchase the wireless adapter
5/5

br>br>All you have to do is download the Xbox accessories app, turn on your controller, and press the Bluetooth button on the controller for your PC to recognize it. After that, go to Windows' Bluetooth settings and add it as a new Bluetooth device, and you're done. br>br>I used the Xbox accessories app to verify that all of the buttons function properly, and they do. So far, I've had no issues with it while playing Yakuza 0 and Ghostrunner. br>br>If you don't have any batteries, you can use a USB cable to power the controller. It's nice to have a C cable.

An Xbox controller that is more refined
5/5

This is a review of the Xbox controller's new "Shock Blue" variant, which debuted alongside the Xbox Series X/S. br>br>Aesthetically, the blue color and white back appeal to me. This controller has a nice design. But, let's face it, once you start gaming, you'll barely notice it. br>br>Since the launch of the Xbox 360, Xbox controllers have remained largely unchanged. Instead, they've undergone minor iterational improvements, and this is no exception. With the exception of a new "Share" button in the middle and a switch from micro-controller to analog, this new controller looks and functions nearly identically to the Xbox One controller. USB to USB Adapter The number three is still present. Runs on AA batteries and has a 5mm headset jack as well as an accessory port for keypads and older headsets. br>br>The main differences are the controller's feel and the D-pad. pad. It now has a much more textured feel, which is carried over to the bumpers and triggers. The bumpers were previously glossy and slick, but they now have a matte finish. The D- The pad reverts to the Xbox 360's more "paddle"-like design, but it's a lot better than before, feeling tight and clicky rather than wobbly. It works in the same way as the paddle D- If you've seen those, you'll recognize the pad from the Elite Series 2. The controller is also slightly smaller in the hand than the previous generation; it's only a smidgeon smaller, but there's something about it that feels slightly different. The Share button also makes it easier to save gameplay clips and other media; it's essentially a shortcut to manually navigating to the share settings by pressing the Xbox button. br>br>This device is compatible with all Xbox One/S/X consoles, as well as Xbox Series X/S, PCs, and Bluetooth devices. As a result, it has a wide range of applications. It works great right out of the box, and I was able to get used to it quickly after switching from Xbox One controllers. Again, it's barely noticeable, so when I say I've adjusted to it, I basically mean I've switched to it and that's all there is to it! br>br>I'm a huge Xbox fan, and the controller is one of my favorites. It's almost perfect in my opinion, but I haven't tried the PS5's haptics, which sound intriguing. I don't mind using AA batteries because they last a long time and there are no internal batteries to worry about. If you've had problems with Xbox controllers in the past, this iteration is unlikely to change your mind.

I wasn't expecting anything like this
3/5

I didn't expect to get a wireless controller that runs on batteries for the price. A charging cable was not what I expected. At this price point, PS4 controllers come with this feature as standard. br>br>Silly me, I mistook microsoft for xbox, and microsoft for Windows 10. Isn't it true that we should all get along? No. It connects quickly enough, but games that support the Xbox controller are dead as a doornail. br>br>Hopefully, I'll be able to find a USB-powered device that isn't too expensive. MAYBE it will work with a C cable, but I doubt it. br>br>This controller is also significantly heavier than the PS4 controller, even without the batteries. br>br>Instead of this overpriced item, I just bought a third-party cheapo.

PC Users: A wireless adapter must be purchased separately
4/5

Pictured: The Robot White controller (which is very nice) and the Wireless Adapter (which is not included). br>br>Wanted to replace my Xbox 360 controller with a new one so I could play PC games. The new controller is very appealing to me. The textured back is very comfortable to hold, and the d-ring is a nice addition. The pad and shoulder bumpers are clicky in all the ways I like them to be, and they feel good in my wide-palmed, short-fingered lady hands. It connected easily to my Windows 10 machine when I used the official Wireless Adapter (not bootlegged, link below), but that's where the problem lies: You'll have to pay an extra /$25/ on top of the $60 price tag for the controller to connect it to a non-game console. PC with Bluetooth. br> At the very least, a wired USB cable should have been included with the controller; the controller is excellent, but the $85 price tag (for PC users) is exorbitant. For that kind of money, I'm not sure I'd recommend this to a friend.
