Questions & Answers

Is this cable capable of allowing me to play my Xbox 360 on my laptop screen? And, if that's the case, do I need to get any special software?

Because your laptop's screen is hard wired to the motherboard, you won't be able to play any games on it.

Does this connect to the hdmi port on the Xbox 360? The one I bought at Gamestop will not work with my Xbox 360 E. ?

On this, I'll have to wait for Max's response. This appears to be a middle cable that connects to your monitor for audio, but you'll need another adapter and the appropriate headphones for this, at least on a standard Xbox 360. I'm not sure what you'd require for the Xbox 360 E.

Is it compatible with the Xbox One S? Is this simply a dvi to vga conversion?

Only the HDMI output is available on the Xbox One (any model). With an adapter, it may work.

Is it possible to connect your Xbox 360 to your computer monitor using this method?

If your computer has a VGA input, the answer is yes. That's how I've got mine set up.

What you pay for is exactly what you get

VGA output of high quality in a variety of native resolutions, starting at 1280x1024 5: 4: 1280x960 4: 1280x960 4: 1280x960 4: 12 3 res. a complete halt These are the cables you're looking for. While third-party cables can deliver a comparable signal, they (like Madcatz) - On that note, they've never made a 'bad' controller in years; instead, they're only good for a few months before the cheap construction causes bits and pieces to fall off (i. e. Their X360 controller is fantastic in terms of design and feel. for 6- 7 weeks until the sticks loosen, the bumpers fall off, or the stick and buttons stop working - I suppose you get what you pay for at a third of the price. Regardless, the same applies here. br>br> Want to use a component monitor but don't want to deal with adapters that might or might not work? That's exactly what you've been looking for. Lollipop Chainsaw is running at a resolution of 1440x1080 and looks fantastic. Not too costly; spend the extra money on the official cable rather than a cheap one. br>br>The obviousness of 1920x1080 for 16:9 is what I omitted from my display. 9 has been increased in size. This can be done with component depending on the display, but for anyone who owns a desktop computer and a monitor, this should be obvious, and it's much easier because it works with far more displays than component and produces the best image (IMO, VGA). You might need a DVI converter, which costs about three dollars and can be found at Goodwill. Surprisingly, as I previously stated, the 360 appears to be capable of rendering natively at 720 and (8xx-1) pixels. 9xx) for a total of 5: 4 and 4: While some games, such as Dark Souls, are cropped, the pixels are noticeably larger. It's understandable, given that there are fewer pixels overall (most AAA titles are not cropped and will play in their PAL equivalent in a 5:1 aspect ratio). NTSC framerate, 4:1 ratio). br>br>Anyway, excellent cables - OFFICIAL CONNECTION CABLES - It's worth it if you have a bunch of spare monitors that don't have HDMI or Component ports and want to set up a LAN session.

I didn't realize I needed it until now! This cable connects my XBOX 360 to an old computer monitor and works flawlessly
5/5

There are some off-brand cables that do the same thing, but I figured it was worth a few dollars more to get the one that Microsoft designed specifically for this purpose. This cable has exceeded my expectations in every way. It enabled me to repurpose an old computer monitor for my children's room, allowing me to relocate the Xbox while still allowing them to use it. When the kids want to play Skylanders or Minecraft, it no longer takes over our living room TV. I only wish I had known there was such a thing all along, because I honestly just happened upon it by accident. If I had known about it before, I would have purchased it long ago. I would recommend this product to anyone in a similar situation without hesitation.

My 360 component cable died after 14 years, and I now have a hdmi-equipped television
5/5

less 360. I didn't want to buy another cable because I wasn't sure I could trust a used one. So, since my television has a Dreamcast input, I thought of the vga cable, which is genuine Microsoft and even includes the RCA audio to 3. A stereo jack of 5 mm is used. The image is even sharper than before, and it is far superior to the component. It only cost me 65 cents because all I had to pay was tax. If you buy from the same seller as I did, you won't need to buy an rca to 3. It's the second xbox 360 version of the cable, with a 5mm adapter.

It's 100% worth it
5/5

So you went out and bought the "cheapo" $5 cord, thinking to yourself, "hey, even if it was soldered together by a drunk desperate third-world child, it should have the same picture quality as the real thing, right?" " I felt the same way. And then there were Blurries all over the place! Ghosting and strange lines on the screen, as if my television was suffering from glaucoma or astigmatism. br>br>As a result, I eventually purchased this cable (at a reasonable price!). And there you have it. In HD, my FIFA and Halo games looked stunning and crystal clear. You get what you pay for, as the saying goes. This is the cable you'll require; Don't squander your money on shoddy imitations.

The official Microsoft cable performs admirably
5/5

Although the picture makes it difficult to tell, this is the official Microsoft Xbox 360 VGA HD AV Cable. If you're going to output to a computer monitor, you'll need this. Look on the back of your monitor to see if it supports VGA input (it most likely does). br>br>I tried the cheap knockoff cable and it didn't work, so you'll need the genuine article. Please take note of the following: br>br>PLEASE NOTE: The VGA part connects to your monitor and displays the image, but you'll almost certainly need an RCA-compatible component. To get sound, you'll need a stereo adapter. To connect your speakers, use this adapter (for white and red plugs). These are available for a low price online or at RadioShack. It's called the "Y-" and I bought it at RadioShack. "adapter" is a term used to describe a device that does something like this: 1/8" (3. Dual RCA female to stereo male (5mm). br>br>Everything worked perfectly with the setup I just described.

A monitor is connected to the Xbox 360
5/5

My intention was to connect my Xbox 360 to my HP vs17 monitor. It took some investigation to determine whether or not it was feasible. It CAN be done with this cable. and EASY! Simply unplug the game system's cable and connect this one to the monitor, then turn it on. According to some sources, you may need to adjust the settings in order to get a good image. I suppose I was fortunate in that the picture and sound were both perfect. This cable was frequently ordered with an adapter for stereo (Xbox) to mono (monitor) on Amazon, so I added it to my order. When the cable arrived with an adapter included in the package, I was taken aback. Oh well, I suppose it'll be a future project. (It was reasonably priced. ) This find has made my day!.

The clarity is superb! I had a couple of old CRT monitors that I thought I'd try with my Xbox 360, and I was a little worried about how it would look, but after adjusting the resolution on my console's settings, I was playing with a crisp, clean VGA signal! I've heard that third-party cables have a halo effect

ing effect, and I didn't notice anything with this one on both of my monitors! Worth it!.
