This is the only cable I'm using at the moment. I was sucked in- The salesman at one of the electronic stores recommended that I buy some very expensive cables. Because they were so expensive, I only bought two, but after doing some research, I discovered that cables are cables. as long as the specifications are met In every way, these are excellent. How did I figure that out? Because I have the most recent Apple TV, which includes a cable check feature, and these babies always pass (I like to check multiple times for fun).
For months, my cable had been blanking out, and I assumed it was a Verizon issue, so I called them, and they tried but ended up saying, "There's an outage in your area" lmao. whatever. To cut a long story short, I discovered that the problem was with the HDMI cord, so I read the reviews and decided to purchase it. br>br>I could tell the difference as soon as I plugged it into the ports. The last one had to jiggle it to work because it was leaning out the ports. This one works great, and you won't have to worry about blacking out while watching TV anymore.
The HDMI cable I received is of excellent quality. The cable is well-made and has a good weight to it. It's insulated and flexible at the same time. I've used low-cost HDMI cables before, and they're often stiff and difficult to straighten. This isn't the case here. The connectors are made of gold. plated, and it's very simple to plug in. I had no problems with interference or signal strength, and the picture quality is excellent. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase (a generous warranty and reasonable pricing help!) and would buy from Syncwire again.
It appears that the quality is excellent. I used the following formula to solve technical issues: br>Moving horizontal lines appeared on the screen of my computer monitor. I bypassed the monitor screen with this Syncwire hdmi cable in order to see if the problem was software or hardware. I had immediate success after connecting my older HP laptop to a Visio smart tv. My desktop was displayed on the television screen with full audio functionality (after selecting the hdmi setting on the television). So it's not the recent Windows 10 update that's breaking other things that's causing my problem. )br>Now for the monitor to be fixed.
I thought it was my Elgato that was the issue, so I returned it and had the same issue, so I switched to HDMI and everything was fine, except for periodic black screens. Sure, they're probably fine most of the time; it was just a pain isolating the issue; in my experience, they either work or don't; this cord worked, but the screen went black for about 2 seconds every 3 minutes. It's strange, but I didn't notice it quickly enough, and now I'm unable to return.
I don't have a smart TV or a 4K capable TV, so this won't be a lengthy review. I do have a gaming computer, a Nintendo switch, and a few (borrowed) televisions on which I was able to test this cable. In addition, I used video editing software to compare several video recordings made with various HDMI cables I had on hand. To put it another way: br>br> br>br>This cable is everything I could ask for in a cable. I played a few sprite-based games like Sonic Mania and Super Metroid and had no complaints. It does the job I need it to do, and it'll be the primary cable I use with my newer consoles. When I have a chance to test out the rest of the features of this cable, I will absolutely update this review. When I upgrade my PC's monitor, I'm definitely going to do this.
Today I got my cable. So far, everything has gone well. Both the Apple TV and the PS4 Pro are capable of sending full 4K video. br>The packaging is my only criticism of this product. The cable is delivered in a small box, and the ends of the cables are subjected to undue strain (see photos). I let the cables sit outside for a minute after removing them from the box, and they straightened out, but I imagine they would have broken if it had been colder.
I bought two and one didn't work right away (Amazon credited me), and the other has intermittent connection problems after only a month. It works if you move it in one direction, but it loses its connection if you move it in the opposite direction. I received an email from the company asking if I was having any problems with the HDMI cables; I explained the problem and received no response.
