Our old power supply had finally given up the ghost and died. We had no desire to spend a lot of money on a new gaming system because there was nothing wrong with this one, so we plugged it in and were up and running again in no time. To test this power supply, I ran the system for 48 hours without turning it off. There will be no issues. br>br>As some other reviewers have stated, this power supply is noisier than the original. An internal fan, which helps to cool the power supply, is the source of this noise. I'm not sure why anyone would be bothered by this noise. When the XBox is turned off, the power supply turns off, which means there is no noise; however, when the system is turned on, the game being played will drown out the fan noise. So, in conclusion, the fan noise is not a problem in my opinion. br>br>If the need arises, I would purchase this power supply again.

fit- For the original from, this function is a replacement. The 'brick' was a shape-shifting device. fit- This is a function replacement for the Xbox Slim's original. So far, it's performing as expected. My gut instinct is a five out of five. As an electrical engineer, I'm baffled as to how the power supply could be the system's Achilles heel, but a quick glance at the blogs reveals that OEM power supplies are riddled with issues. My case was a textbook example of the problems that OEM power supplies can cause. I'm not a regular gamer or Xbox app user, so I was surprised when the OEM supply ran out so quickly. BL: If this replacement lasts for another 24 months, it will have outperformed its predecessor and thus be deserving of the fifth star.

The Xbox was given to me by a friend who said it was no longer functional. After some research, I concluded that the problem must be with the power supply. It was dubbed the "weak link" in the entire system by some. The Xbox worked flawlessly after I purchased this power supply.

After my first attempt failed, I began to look into other options. I considered buying one that had been previously used, but in the end, I chose this one. I don't play my Xbox very often, but it has served me well thus far. I haven't heard any obnoxious noises from it, nor have I had any other problems with it. If you're in the market for a new power supply, take a look at this one.

Power supplies for the Xbox Slim from the manufacturer are notorious for breaking down. I traded my Wii for a new one earlier this year. In exchange for an older Xbox, I traded it in for a used Xbox 360 from GameStop. My youngest son has special needs, and the Kinect Sensor is a great way for him to play games and get exercise without having to use fine motor skills like a game controller requires. After 30 days, the OEM power supply failed. I returned everything under warranty and received an OEM power supply in its place. After 30 days, that one also failed. The employees were courteous and provided me with a THIRD OEM power supply. That one worked for about two months before failing. Enough! Why put up with those faulty OEM supplies (every employee I spoke with is aware of the OEM Xbox Slim power supply issues). After reading the Amazon reviews, I decided to purchase this one from YCCTEAM. My son and I only play for two hours three times a week. So far, so good, 3 hours at a time It's only been a month, so I'll update the review in a few months and let you know how it holds up over time. For now, four stars!.

For a long time, I had problems with the initial power supply, which would shut off out of nowhere after an hour or so, requiring me to wait a few minutes before I could play for another half hour. When this happened, the power supply's red light would always illuminate. I haven't had any problems since connecting this one. For the past four years, I've been able to play. Without a hitch, I was able to work for 5 hours straight. br>Excellent item.

The warranty service will determine whether it is a 1 Star or 5 Star rating.   It's been about 5 months since I purchased this. It worked fine at first, and it's only been used a handful of times since then. Now that it's broken, Observe the behavior of the red light blinking. I'll upgrade to 5 stars if they keep their warranty (6 months) in good standing. It will be reduced to one star if there is no response or warranty service. br>br>9/10/21 Update - Support for the YCCTeam (support@yccteam. com). com) responded to my email and said the best they could do was give me a $5 refund. As a result, they aren't honoring their "6-month warranty. ".
