Questions & Answers

Do you have any plans to hook this up to the Super Famicom?

In fact, yes. There is a cable for the Super Famicom that works with this.

Would this work for my QLED tv series since I have no RYW and RGB hook ups in the back of my TV. Will this work for me?

A HDMI connector is then used instead of the original cable connection to output from the cable

My video and audio are not working when using this product? What can I do to fix this problem?

Bring it back to the return point before the time limit expires to exchange

Is it possible that this cable will solve the issue of lag associated with connecting a super NES to an HD TV? There is a slight delay after you press a button on mine. ?

It is not the adapter itself that will resolve input lag for you. Set your television to Game mode by selecting the Game option in Through this, the television can receive a faster frame rate exactly for gaming purposes by bypassing its filtering processor(s). In the case of a 4K TV, note that not all of them are compatible with the older video signals, so you will experience significant If a TV has a game mode at all (typically off-brand ones), it might not even function. As well as input lag issues being present in some of the devices that use HDMI only for video input, some models that support 1080p also have input lag problems.

I recently obtained a Nintendo 64 and decided to write about the experience
4/5

If you're not aware, there are 2 versions of this cable, one for the SNES and one for the SNES, N64, and GameCube. A universal system, also known as the 3-D In this case, S1 takes the role of S-1 The software takes a video signal that all three consoles support, upscales it to 720p, and passes it to the TV. While this cable takes the RGB signal that the SNES natively supports and scales it up to 720p, a HDMI cable does not. In comparison with S-channel, RGB (which stands for Red, Green, Blue) offers superior quality The video will therefore yield a better picture as a result. In spite of its lack of support for the N64, you can use it on your console if it has been modified. eBay has many used items that you can usually find if you look hard enough For around $80 you can get mods for consoles. In what way does the video quality compare to the picture The game does seem to be a little better than composite, but there is no such thing as a miracle. Keeping in mind that the N64 is notorious for its poor video quality (due to very small cartridge capacity), this is further exacerbated by the heavily compressed textures. Overall, you should notice that the text is sharper, edges are more defined, and all together there is less blurriness. There is no comparison between it and the Ultra HDMI mod, but it's still an elegant solution for a reasonable price, and there won't be any input lag issues. I know I have some caveats to add. The first thing you will notice, as others have mentioned, is that it will stretch the image to fill the TV screen. Every HDTV I've ever owned actually allows you to decrease the resolution back down The only problem is if you want to display the screen. I can understand how that might be an issue. The charging cable requires you to plug it into a source of power, a micro USB cable is included, most HDTVs support USB, but will require you to purchase an adapter if yours doesn't. there will be some adjustments to make on your TV, as the whites are too bright and the blacks are too dark, as well as the color saturation is a bit heavy. Despite it being by no means the ideal solution for the SNES or the RGB modded N64, it is an affordable and convenient way to improve video quality on a console that is almost 50 years old. As a side note, please There is a SNES Jr. version but not a model 1 SNES that supports RGB natively. The NES (much like the N64) only supports RGB when it is Even so, while I have not personally tried it, I believe the cable would work just as well if it were.

The picture is great, but some TVs have stretched out the picture
5/5

To the point In the presence of Dr. This is an excellent way to play on a big screen without the huge price tag. You can still use it if there isn't a 4 on your TV A deal breaker might be that you don't like stretched images in the 3 mode. My honest opinion is that I was a bit skeptical about this cable, but was excited nevertheless. My research provided me with information on the retroTINK 2x, OSSC, and the framemeister to improve the quality of gaming on my "big" TV (55" TCL 5 series), since it only has HDMI and component ports. Besides the Samsung LED TV, I tested it on my older 40" Samsung LED TV, which I really enjoyed, with its auto color correction and 43 aspect ratio. It is set in mode 3. In light of the price and the claims that it uses a RGB source, I felt confident enough to purchase it. Last night, I received the cable, and I must say it did not There is only one thing that I would take away a star for the lack of a This mode - "3" There are a few ways to force 4 on many TVs There are some newer ones that no longer do this. Despite my best efforts, I have not Using the game mode on my TV, motion captures are more accurate, but lag is minimal if any at all. Those who complain about color can do so as follows They are a little over the top in terms of colors A saturated market. Although spending some time adjusting my color settings helped a lot, games with a very bright color spectrum (like Yoshi's Island), brought up some issues. In this case I hope they can do something about the homebrew support for native 4 I'm not sure if they left themselves any wiggle room on the power port also allowing for software updates, but if they did then I hope they can do something about it. It is set in mode 3. A final verdict has been reached You'll probably find this to be the best option at the moment for playing SNES games on a TV. Most of the functions rely on the functionality of your television, so it isn't perfect, and you aren't going to get high-end features. It will be interesting to see how the other RGB solutions from Genesis and Saturn will integrate into my living room at this point.

I found the price to be very reasonable
5/5

Depending on your TV settings, you may have to make changes. It is my pleasure to provide this review following my experience with this product. I did not purchase it for the use of a SNES, nor did I plug it into one. My use of it is shown below. After removing it from its package, I opened it. I checked it over just to see what the build quality was like. I have a few Pound cables, and they are all of good The situation is no different in this case. In order to take off the case, I put it on my work bench. Then I hard wired it into my PC Engines TennoKoe 2. I desoldered the cable and removed the micro USB port. The RGB video on my Japanese PC Engine was converted to HDMI via this converter. And it works great! When the RGB cable is short, the power cable is routed separately from the video, and a clean signal is ensured if audio wiring is taken into account, you will end up with a great result. A big thank-you to those who had artifacts with this cable and their SNES game system. There is no shield on the cable that goes from the converter to the console connecter. In addition to carrying RGB signal, Sync, Audio and Power, it also supplies an AC power supply. Signal and power of this magnitude need some form of shielding, but their bundle is not shielded. This has never caused issues for me on a console if it were in its factory form, but I can't image there are Although the cable is short, this probably helps to keep some of these issues to a minimum. But I would gladly pay $5 more for a shielded cable. It might be possible to solve this in another revision by pound.
