I'm not using these to replace my PSP, but rather to repair the C stick on my 3DS. Every unit I've used has had the same problem: it's slow and unresponsive in certain directions. br>br>To my surprise, the piece beneath the rubber nub does not move at all, but it works perfectly once the new cap is installed. I simply ripped off the old one; if you have a triwing screwdriver, removing the back is simple and damage-free; however, once you've put this on, you'll never go back. br>br>There's no need to worry about the larger pad taking up too much space because it's stationary and doesn't move around like the PSP analog. I'm primarily using it to improve the playability of Metal Gear 3DS, and it certainly accomplished that goal. It fits perfectly and feels great, and I recommend it to any new 3DS owner.
In the year 2020, I used it on my brand new 3DSXL. It's well worth the money because you get a lot of them, and it's well worth the effort to install. It's far superior to the grey nip in terms of effectiveness.
These were purchased in order to modify my Nintendo 3DS C- stick. It's fantastic! The fit is excellent, and the overall feel is significantly improved. They are, in my opinion, a better fit than the Insten caps.
