There is a lot of merit in this Nine of them I have bought over the years. I really love the fact that the case is hard and that it can be dropped or sat upon without it breaking or damaging the enclosed UMDs. The latches are secure and will not accidentally open, yet are easy enough to open when you need them to. This case allows you to see each UMD label without removing the UMDs from it, unlike most other cases. The UMD labels are easily read through the four edges of each UMD side. If you don't find what you're looking for, simply flip the UMD side closed. I agree with others that the UMDs will fit very tightly in the cases, and you may break them if you try to force them out. When I buy a new case, I will move the snap clips at the bottom or sides out a little so that the UMD can be pulled in and out easily without any strain being put on the UMD. gently push on the content with just a little pressure, you will feel how the material gives way and moves hard and make the UMD fit too loosely, you can push them back just a bit to make them fit perfectly. In my experience, I've never broken a snap clip or felt like I was on the verge of doing so, so I think this is the ideal solution.
The item itself does not really merit much attention. It was the ideal size for me to hold a hard-shell PSP case. All the games I needed were on it, which holds 8 games. I use this case to store away my games when I'm on the go because it can click shut on either side and protects my games in case I drop it. This is a great UMD case, I would give it 5 stars. However, the clips that hold the UMDs in are extremely stiff, so inserting and removing the UMDs can be a bit of a pain. This was not a problem for me. I found it very effective at holding the UMDs in place. Make sure you don't force them in or out and you will be fine. My wish is that there were more UMDs in this case than eight! Even after a year since purchase, I have yet to experience any problems with the UMD, but in consideration of other owners' complaints, I agree that the latches on the UMD are a bit The UMDs are not falling off them but I think of them as a safety measure to ensure that they are safe from falling. In my opinion, it is very easy to use. Although I have heard of cases in which UMDs have been damaged by placing/removing them from tight slots, I have not personally experienced it. Store your UMDs in this way for a great deal of convenience. To help my son with his games, I bought this. Identical to the real PSP gaming console, the device has a similar design. Plastic box with 4 slots that can be opened on either side can store eight games in total. Almost all games snap into the case securely with three or four "prongs" and will be secure inside. The case is designed to be difficult, so games will be safe inside.
