This is one of Amazon's TWO most popular PSP 1000 series batteries, including mine. BOTH were purchased by me. AND ANOTHER FROM A CLASSIC GAME STORE. WHITE WRITING is on one, while BLACK INGRAVING is on the other. br>The one I got from the retro gaming store was PERFECTLY fitting. THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS THAT THE SHAPE OF THE BATTERY MADE IT A LITTLE WOBBLY. However, if you push the top piece directly into the port, those three wires from the little bulge at the top, similar to the end of an average battery, it works WITHOUT ERROR. MANY REVIEWS said that in order to make one of the two batteries on here fit, they had to sand down one of the longer pegs at the bottom of the battery to make it fit, and STILL the DOOR WON'T CLOSE. My battery allows me to close the door without making any changes. ONE OF THESE TWO BATTERIES IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE BATTERY I PURCHASED AT THE RETRO STORE. br>br>One needs to be altered and still won't close, while the other is perfect. Alternatively, you can read other reviews or buy both. br>br>Also, keep in mind that different models require different batteries. My 10001 is compatible with the 1000 version. br>br>In the Amazon search bar, look for your model version. That is all there is to it.

I've seen a few reviews claiming that the battery won't fit and the cover won't close; this is because it's designed for the 1000 models, which are thicker (1001, 1002, 1003, 1004, etc. ); if you lift the battery cover and look closely, it should tell you which model it is (PSP-1000). PSP-1000, PSP-2000, or PSP-2000, or PSP-2000, or P 3000). I hope this is of use to someone. (PS. The picture on top isn't of my PSP because I haven't received mine yet; it's just for illustration purposes. ).

With this battery, my 1000 lit up like Christmas as soon as I inserted it. There were no chip or circuitry issues from the PS3 itself not being used for nearly 8 years. There were no problems with the back case closing or fitting. Check your battery wattage and voltage, as well as which model you have (1000, 2000, etc. ) as mentioned in a previous review; if you do that, which takes less than 30 seconds, you will have no issues with the hardware; however, I have no idea how long the battery will last. I've only had it for a day and don't play games for long periods of time on handheld devices, so if I get 4 hours or whatever many reviews are claiming, that's fine by me. However, I'm assuming the short battery life people are complaining about is due to having the incorrect batt, but even if it isn't, the batt is a bargain compared to what a Sony battery would cost. I bought the lumines and ridge racer bundle at Best Buy on the day the first PSP was released, and I didn't stop playing until Apple released iOS 5 for Android iPads and tablets. 1 and higher games began to appear on smartphones, and the PS Vita broke my heart due to its limited game selection and lack of support from Sony and developers. However, in the early years, lumines fusion was available on the Google Play Store, but like many other popular titles such as geometry war and others, it was either discontinued or removed entirely. However, if you had an older version, it could still be transferred to a new phone. However, whatever update the Google Play Store made this month, January 2021, rendered many of the major titles previously unavailable for purchase in the Google Play Store unplayable, including lumines. Geometry wars, on the other hand, still works, so it could be a cloud-based issue, as I believe geometry wars is an offline game and lumines fusion required a cloud/memory connection or whatever. In any case, if you have an old PS3 and want to start it up, you don't need to worry about the proprietary batteries because this one works great and I would recommend it to anyone who has a PS3 that hasn't been used in a few years instead of trying to squeeze whatever juice is left in the original Sony battery, which is only good to have as a backup.

I was taken aback by how light the battery was when it arrived. I thought it was nonsense right away. the cheapest and most basic material that could technically be called a battery, enclosed in a plastic case However, because I had already paid for it, I charged it in full right away. br>br>It fit in my PSP 1001 (not perfectly, but close enough), so I gave it a shot. It worked, though the battery life was significantly reduced compared to the stock battery before it puffed itself out after many years of use. This was to be expected, given the battery's apparent lack of capacity.


Now as I type this after having used it 3 times, the battery has finally hit 1% of charge after half an hour of charging has finally% It was about a week ago when I last used it at 78% the last time I used it at 78% the last time I used it at 78%% br>br>I paid for a cheesy piece of Chinese junk and received exactly what I expected (but hoped against after reading numerous reviews). Now is the time to take a chance on a new battery.

This is for my nephew's Sony PSP, which I purchased. Because the OEM battery was no longer available, I needed a replacement, and this was the best option. I was completely let down. The battery would only last for about 30 minutes before needing to be recharged. Imitation at its most basic. What you pay for is exactly what you get.

The battery slot on the PSP 1000 is perfectly suited for this item. I still have the original launch battery that came with my PSP when I first got it in April of 2005 when I was a kid, and while it still works fine, I'm glad I got this as a great replacement for it. It's a fantastic replacement, and it gives me the confidence to play my PSP for years to come without fear of damaging the original battery.

The battery is in perfect condition. The only difference is that the PSP- The case on the 1001 model does not fully close. It closes around 90% with a small part loose at the end. The product functions properly in all other respects.
