I don't believe the battery will work with a PSP 1000, but Amazon does sell a PSP 1000 battery.
Sorry, I misread it, but it will work. I assumed you were getting the 2400 mah battery.

So, I recently bought this battery for my PSP 3001 (as of November 13, 2018). On November 11th, I placed an order for it. The battery fits perfectly in the battery bay of the 3001, but it is a little more snug due to the slightly longer tab on the bottom of the battery, so shipping was quick. This tab is highlighted in red in one of my photos, but trust me when I say that it fits and the battery cover closes perfectly with the battery in place, as shown in the photos. It's possible that you'll need to pry the battery out with a small screwdriver or knife. br>br>This battery receives a 5-star rating from me. For the time being, I'm giving it a five-star rating because it arrived quickly, it fits my PSP perfectly, and the battery was charged enough to power my PSP when it arrived. If I discover any negative aspects later, the rating may change. br>br>Please excuse any blurry photos, but I believe they demonstrate that the battery fits and the battery cover closes properly. It also shows how it compares to the Sony PSP battery that came with the system. (My PSP is covered in a Star Wars skin. ) br>br>It came with a small charge, so I was able to use it to power my PSP 3001. Obviously, since I just got it today, I have no idea how long a full charge will last. br>br>I'm not promising anything, but perhaps I'll remember to report back on the battery life. br>br>Hope this review clears up any confusion about whether or not this battery will fit in a 3001 PSP.
When I put this battery in my PS3, it blew up.
The battery I ordered to replace my dead original Sony/PSP battery does not fit properly in my 3001 model, as shown in the attached photo. The battery's top protrudes just far enough from the back compartment to prevent it from closing without force. I'm able to close the back, but there's a bulge that shouldn't be there. Furthermore, when the battery is inserted into my PSP and connected to a charger, it takes 5 minutes for the orange light to turn off. My PSP isn't turning on, and there's no battery power logged. I've tried unplugging and plugging it back in several times with the same result, and I have no reason to believe my PSP is faulty because it works fine when the battery is removed and it's plugged into a power source. If you have a PSP 3001, I would be very cautious about ordering this model battery.
It appears to be working well. My PSP 3000 can accommodate the battery. I've read that it doesn't fit in some people's PSP 3000s, but the battery does. Yes, I have a Sony PlayStation 3000, and the lid is closed with the battery, battery. The battery lasts for 3 hours and charges quickly, but I haven't put it to the test to see how long it will last before dying. When I got the battery, it appeared to be brand new. and the battery appeared to be in good condition, contrary to reports that some people had received a defective battery. I purchased a high-quality battery. So, for the time being, I'll see how long it lasts.
Sony no longer produces batteries for the PSP 2001 and similar devices, which is a real shame. My original battery pack, which is ten years old, still performs better than this aftermarket battery pack. However, if you didn't have a functioning battery, this would be preferable to nothing. It charges to 100%, according to 
On my first order, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a genuine Sony replacement. After a few years, I ordered another, which came as the off-season. the advertised brand; Definitely a more snug fit and less personalized.
It works in theory. If you're willing to fiddle with it every time you want to use your PS3 (at least, that's how I feel about my PS3 model 3001). It keeps disconnecting, and the only way to fix it is to open the battery case, eject the battery, reinsert it, and repeat the process 2 or 3 times more before getting some very limited success, only to have the battery disconnect again several minutes later. Poor form factor, unknown performance in terms of ability to maintain charge due to the inevitability of all-out all-out all-out all-out all-out all-out all-out all-out too- Disconnection occurs frequently. br>Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend purchasing.
The battery appears to be of good construction. I ordered a 1200 mAh battery based on the description. The 1800 mAh battery that was sent was the wrong size. I returned the first icorrect battery and stated that I needed the 1200 mAh battery as described in the description. The second battery was also an 1800 mAh unit, but it was too big for my PSP3000. Now I'm requesting a reversal of the decision. The item appears to be well-made, and I would be pleased if I received the correct one. However, the battery that was sent twice was not the same as the one that was described and will not fit my PSP. If you require a battery with a capacity of 1200 mAh, I would not recommend purchasing this battery. If the 1800 mAh battery is compatible with your older FAT PSP, this is a good battery.
