Hello! The game, box, and manual were all included in the package I bought. It was an open product that had been used but was still in great shape.
What is the difference between the Sega Megadrive and the Sega Genesis? No, it won't work with Mega Drive/Genesis.
Selected User Reviews For Alex Kidd In Miracle World - Sega Master System
This game's magic hasn't faded, and it's still a joy to play.
This is a fantastic example of old-school gaming at its best.
br>br>Unfortunately, Alex only received two decent sequels before dying due to Sega's apparent inability or unwillingness to breathe new life into their classic icon. Granted, we got Psycho Fox (har har) and Sonic out of it, but you don't realize how much you're missing out on until you play Alex Kidd. br>br>It's similar to later Mario games in that it's brightly colored, the stages are large and varied, and you get power-ups in the form of rings, vehicles, and the like instead of epic boss fights at the end of each level. You end up playing Rock, Scissors, Paper to win money, which you do throughout the game. Mario promotes the use of psilocybin, while Alex promotes gambling. You also don't use your head to break blocks or jump on enemies; instead, you punch them, which you can do while underwater. br>br>It has a different but somewhat similar feel to Mario, and it's definitely worth checking out if only to learn about a crucial but little-known piece of platformer history. br>br>(If you order the Master System II, Alex Kidd is already included!.
Alex Kidd is the best game on the Master System; if you can get a boxed copy, it will make your day; however, do not buy Alex Kidd in the hi-tech world; it is a complete failure!.
