In theory, it should work since the Mega Everdrive mimics a console game cartridge, and does not actually emulate the console. it in an AtGames Genesis and it worked, though I had to deal with it trying to emulate specific sound features, since that console is still just an emulator. I was able to breathe new life into my Sega Genesis collection with the Mega EverDrive X3, which is the least expensive of the three models offered. But that comes as no surprise anyway since the Genesis does not have a save function, and you just might get into the habit of doing so just to try out something else.
