There's nothing new about it. The wrong model, it's scratched up, it's filthy. Replaced the battery but did not replace it.
This is the wrong model, the features are not what they appear to be. Similarly, quality did not live up to expectations. The item did not arrive in good condition when they claimed it was.
My product has a dent in the shell when I received it. Initially, it worked for a week, but now the charge can't be obtained. tried to contact the seller, Rock 30 Games, but so far have not heard back. While I understand that it is refurbished, I had to live with the dent, but if you refurbish it, it should be upgraded with a new battery since that is the major concern not purchase from this seller unless you want your hard earned cash out of your hands!.
Buy this product at your own peril! The price for this scratched up SP on Amazon ought to be shameful. I thought I was getting a good quality item for an extra $290, however I could have purchased this one for less than I was literally shocked when I saw both bumper buttons were wriggly as hell and the entire device was scratched.
Despite our best efforts, the charger was not functioning Apart from that, it worked fine, but I don't know how you explain to a kid we have to take it.
It is not the first GBA SP I have owned. It cost me about $170 to get this one renewed. There don't seem to be that many floating around these days, so it may be because there aren't that many. In any case, I saw reviews for other systems that people purchased from a particular seller and either had dents in the shells or had battery issues. A Cave Gamers system was ordered by me. As for the system itself, it has some wear and tear with a few scratches, scuffs, etc. Taking it on a trip is fine. Renewing a system is different from setting up a new one. As a result, some minor wear could be expected. I like how clear and crisp the screen is. In terms of battery performance, so far it has been good. As I wait to see how it holds up, I hope it will last for a while. When the system is on, there is a slight hum/whining noise. Upon research, I found that this was also a problem others had with new SP systems at the same time. It’s not that noticeable, but it does exist. Is there a way for someone to order one of these renewed systems that If you are patient and have the time, you can replace the shell by yourself. That is, if you consider the cosmetic factor to be a big priority.
A button that is not working at all is considered "refurbished," and I would hate to see what exactly the company considers.
It was in great condition, worked perfectly, and came with a charger(or at least mine did).
