Can a PS2 fat console be connected to a slim console using the powers cord?

My opinion is that it isn't the case.

Do I need to set up my HDTV and Roku if I want to use it? Shenzhen - How do I use it on my HDTV and Roku?

In most cases, you'll need an adapter for connecting a PS2 cable to an HD television (unless your HD television has the red, yellow, and white input jacks) because your HD television may not have these input jacks. It works well and makes the games look a bit better, but it won't work for PS1 games. I purchased a "PS2 to HDMI" adapter on Amazon, which makes the games look a tiny bit better. In Twisted Metal 2, I may have wanted to play (I wanted to play it). In any case, I ordered a Gana Mini AV2HDMI UP Scaler 1080p off Amazon, and it worked great. Spectrographs are the only gadgets I use my Roku for, so I use it only to power the adapters which come with little USB cables.

Do these silver slim PS2 consoles support PS1 discs? If I buy one of these renewed consoles, will I be able to play PS1 ?

On them you can play the majority of PS1 games. Nevertheless, you won't be able to save.

You could not ask for a better PS2 for its age

I found it a bit slow loading at first. For example, the console barely finishes its intro before the game already begins. There is no loading of the games with this one, but the intro is complete. As well as being quiet, it is lovely.
