I still have my gameboy, and it is still working great after all these years.
I own both the Gameboy Advance and the Gameboy Color The Gameboy Advance SP is able to play all generations of Gameboy games (Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance).
Neither the Game Boy Advance nor its accessories can be charged. New batteries have just been put in. You can also get the rechargeable Game Boy Advance SP (with a flashlight).
The plastic is quite thick and sturdy, but I am not sure what type of plastic it is. A big drop is necessary for scratches to show up as well.

I definitely don't think this is in good shape. You can't see even the game on the screen because it is scratched to pieces. The battery cover is missing, and it looks like it is knocked off the table. I can't believe what I just saw.
Rather unimpressed that this seller considered it appropriate to send a system without a return, having been damaged and dirty. The power button had to be pressed multiple times just to power it on.
