An Atari Flashback Portable Game Player would make a kid smile if you gave it to one today. You can give it to someone like me who grew up in the 70's and 80's, and they will probably think it's the greatest thing With its 70 classic games, it offers hours of fun. The SD card (not included) allows you to add your own Atari ROMs if that is not enough. The number of games installed on my Atari Flashback Portable Game Player is over 600 right now. There is no such thing as a perfect product, but the majority of them work just fine. The player is small and lightweight, and so is most of the software. Some have bugs, and some don't work well without paddles, etc. Here are the two. While an 8" screen is very small, I was impressed by the quality of the colors and resolution. This player has an output for connecting to a TV or monitor, but there is no cable included with it. Included with this product is a USB charging cable. In about 3 to 4 hours, the battery charges There is a waiting time of four hours, and I usually get four hours of gaming. The controls and buttons are good for most games, however some games requiring paddles may prove frustrating, if not impossible, to play. The game does not have a joystick or paddle input to hook up to. This year, the Game Boy Advance comes with a removable battery in addition to the 10 added built-in games. It's amazing to have most of the Atari 2600 library in the palm of my hand, as I grew up playing the Atari 2600 when I was a kid. It was a real joy to find a new portable console based on the Atari 2600, which is something I grew up with. Over 70 games were available to play, many of them my favorites. Furthermore, it has a slot for a micro SD card which enables you to add more games if you have additional 2600 rom images. a 2600 that has hundreds of cartridges, so I was able to expand the original 70 to accommodate the additional 300. I now have all my favorite 2600 titles in a compact size that I can take with me. My experience with these games has been good and I have not experienced any bad issues. Though the screen is small, the graphics on the 2600 weren't high resolution, so it still works quite well with the small screen. I am deducting a star because of the cheap plastic, and because the controls aren't as good as I would like them to be, which makes it a little difficult to control some games. As a result, if you grew up playing the Atari 2600 like I did, you will thank me later for the ability to take your favorite 2600 games anywhere For those who do not recognize the games in my pictures, here is a list of all of the games I loaded on my SD card You can play Venture, Donkey Kong, Crazy Climber, Robotron, Space Invaders, and Moon Patrol on your computer.
While some of the games are fun, many of them freeze up during play, but maybe the next version will fix this issue. For many of the games, like Kaboom and Circus Atari and Breakout, pads are required, so they are unplayable. It would be nice if they included a rotating ball. I have to tell you about the Atari games often don't have the real Atari or arcade versions. This is not the case with Man. Despite the fact that it - Flashes like crazy in the man version, and is not a fun game. A new model 3 is hoped to be even better.

This was the only one I got and it perfectly fits the Atari flashback portable unit along with its instruction manual, USB cable, power adapter, Overall, I would rate this 5 stars since I need it for all my needs and have had great luck with it.
