To be honest, I had no idea it had the smiley and frowny faces; all I knew was that it would be a hit with my daughter. Her therapist then requested that I come up with a comfort item for her to take with her in a difficult situation. She's never been one to carry around a special item at nine years old. . . but the first Axoltyl arrived just in time, and she loved it! It was the ideal item for her to bring into her situation, and she's used it ever since. Just in case, I've already placed an order for a backup! br>These are extremely soft and appear to be long-lasting. They are a little pricey in my opinion, but then again, I think that about most things these days! It's worthwhile if you have a child who requires assistance in expressing themselves.
I'm aware that some parents use this as a tool to assist children with emotional expression. This could be very useful for that purpose, in my opinion. These are also a very popular toy among children, including teenagers, at the moment. I bought it for my teenager as a stocking stuffer. It said it wouldn't arrive until January 4th, 2022, which was a long time away but I didn't mind because it's so cute! I didn't give it a second thought or try to track it down in any way. I simply accepted the fact that it would arrive after the holiday season. It arrived much earlier than I expected, on December 23, I believe. I don't recall exactly when I placed my order, but it was after Black Friday. br>br>The colors are bright, the stitching and embroidery are excellent, and the fabric is plush and soft. The little fins, or whatever you want to call them, are made of a stiff felt-like material. They feel like high-quality materials, just like the rest of the toy, but they could be a problem for people who have sensory issues. I didn't read the recommended ages, but I wouldn't give it to a toddler because they'd probably bite the fins off and cause a choking hazard; I assume they're listed in the product description. br>br>This is something that everyone in our house enjoys playing with. We cuddle with it, use it as a small pillow, and it even serves as a football at times. I purchased it when it was on sale (for about $12). At that price, I'd absolutely order again.
This and the glow-in-the-dark bee plush were both on my wish list, and they're both adorable! Due to the fact that they arrived in different packaging, the bee was vacuum sealed while the axolotl was simply placed in the box. It's incredibly gentle on the skin. If you like plushies or need something to occupy your time, this is a must-have!.
My daughter begged for the more popular octopus, but when I learned about the axolotl, I knew she'd prefer it. I was extremely fortunate to get this because it was extremely difficult to come by at the time, even on the Tee Turtle website; I had to wait for it to be back in stock, but the status stated that they "didn't know when or if they would become available again" during that time. It arrived in time for her to stuff it into her Easter basket. It was a hit with her! It was more expensive than I had hoped, but I understand that I am paying more for the brand; at the very least, it is well made and will most likely last a lifetime.
This plushie is so adorable and cuddly. Changing the expression is a lot of fun.
One of my favorite purchases has been this one. If you like axolotls and plushies, I recommend getting it. It's extremely comfortable, and I use it to inform my brothers that they're pissed at me.
It's a good size and can be switched out easily. It's exactly what I expected and a great deal.
