I find it difficult to write a review of this product because, based on my purchase, I am thoroughly satisfied with it. In addition to being a good product of high quality, it fits my needs perfectly. It was important to me to get a Yoyo that was comfortable for sleeping and that would permit me to do simple tricks. I wanted something that met or exceeded the performance of a stock Duncan at the same price. As a result, it does all of It can be made to sleep for nearly 45 seconds with my best throw. The second Merlin that I have purchased. A couple of days after normal use, the green one developed a buzz while spinning and a rattling sound when shaken. There might be a problem with the As for the second, its spin was not as accurate as the other. During the wobble, it fell. The response pad has extra material from the manufacturing process, so I took it apart. To smooth that out and remove it, I tried to remove it. This is an improvement, but not a significant one. I would like to thank these folks for sending in their parts from both Merlins. I managed to create one multicolored one that spins reasonably true and quietly using parts from both. Unfortunately, these have not been made available yet, because they are very useful for practicing string tricks that are very beginner-friendly. recommend getting a YoYo King Spin Control to step up your game. I didn't know yoyos had ball bearings, did you? That sure wasn't the case. Having recently become a parent, my kids asked for a yoyo, so I ordered this one from Amazon in just 10 seconds. This looks like an impressive unit to me. I'm no rocket scientist, but it seems to me pretty impressive. It has a good weight, and the bearing isn't whisper quiet, but it does seem to spin smoother than it should. We haven't experienced any problems while performing yoyo tricks with it, however.
