However. I'm a big fan of Step 2 products, so I was looking forward to trying this one out. The product is attractive, and assembly was simple, but there were a few design flaws that took away from the fun right away. My kids, on the other hand, have had a lot of fun with it.
PROS:
- It was extremely simple and quick to put together - It came with a lot of pieces, but almost all of them just snapped into place securely, so there was very little tooling required. work. To attach the top part, you had to screw in three small screws, but it was a simple step. The rest of the pieces snapped into place, and we were ready to go in no time!br>- fun - This was a lot of fun for my kids to play with. br>- small enough to be quickly filled - With just three pitchers of water, I simply filled it with a large pitcher from the kitchen sink.
- vibrant colors and a pleasing designbr>- When water is poured from the top, it cascades down through small holes, creating a fountain/waterfall effect that my children adored. br>br>CONS: br>The drawbacks are the reason I docked two stars, and they primarily revolve around toy placement and design - which is exactly what a water table is for (fun water toys to play with). ) To be honest, my kids didn't seem to mind, but the fact that nothing was working was driving me insane.
- Three small water-related items can be found on the water table. toy that spins - a single horizontal wheel, a set of two wheels, and a small bucket that spills as it fills up The first issue is: Those toys do not snap into place; instead, they slide into place. Every time my youngest daughter sees one, she pulls it out. I'm not sure why a piece that must remain in place in order to function does not snap into place. I'm pretty sure they'll be gone before the end of the summer. And it was bothering my older son because he wanted to see them at work, but they kept being taken away.
- Second issue: When water is poured over the toys, they spin and move around. Any water poured into the upper section, I assumed, would activate them; However, because of their placement, water must be poured into three smaller, precisely placed holes at the top (see my illustration with arrows). My children are not tall enough (and will not be for a long time) to see where the water should be poured to get them to work. I wish that pouring water on top of them would activate them so that they wouldn't be as frustrated.
- Problem number three: Even if an adult pours water in the correct spot, only one of the toys is in the correct position to work consistently. The bucket toy has always worked, but the single orange spinner is too stiff to spin freely when water is poured over it, and the purple double spinner is too far back for the water flow to reach it.
- Finally, on the outside edge of the main water tank are two small toy holders that are far too shallow to actually hold anything. With just a little pressure, the toys on the side pop right off. br>br>Overall, my kids have had a BLAST with this toy (though I think they would have had a blast with just some recycled food containers full of water too haha), but out of all the water table options available, I would research the different features and make sure they work before deciding which model to purchase. This water table appears to have some entertaining features, but they did not work for us.

This table is so much fun! I've wanted to buy this for a long time, but it's too pricey for me and my morals, haha. But it went on sale, so I have it in my house for my toddler, and I fill it with soapy water, colored water, or regular water, then dump it out and dry rice, corn kernels, or dried beans on different days. It's a lot of fun for him, and I'm sure I can add a lot more things for him to play with in the future. I'd like to point out that I have a waterproof mattress sheet that I bought and placed underneath this.

This is perfect! It's the perfect height; I was concerned that it would be too tall for my small/premie babies to reach the high part to fill it with water. It holds a lot of water, doesn't leak, and can even fit my son in it, haha.

So there are two problems with this splash pool for me. To begin with, I did not receive all of the promised parts. It was supposed to come with a red bucket, but I didn't get it. Second, my son is capable of unplugging the cable. That isn't the toys' fault, but having to fill up again and again is very inconvenient for me. We're still learning how to say "no" because he's only one. I gave it four stars because of the missing bucket. Aside from those two points, I believe this is good money. Splashing and dumping water all over the place is a lot of fun for my son. Because he isn't tall enough to fill the thing with water, I do it for him, but he enjoys it. I would definitely recommend this product because he gets so excited when I bring it outside!.

Enjoyable for hours. Let me start by saying that my 19-month-old daughter adores it! It provides her with hours of entertainment. With the exception of the water toy with the two purple pieces, it was probably the simplest thing I've ever put together. In case anyone else was looking for the screws, they were hidden with the rubber duck. If the water toys could snap into place, that would be ideal. She, on the other hand, delights in rearranging them. The plastic tub is a little flimsier than the other step 2 products I've had in the past, but the drain plug is a big plus, and overall, it's a good table for the money. There are a few design flaws that bother me more than the kid.

It's a big deal for me to keep my energetic 2-year-old (the youngest of six) occupied. It was well worth the money! It took this stay-at-home mom less than ten minutes to put it together (with the help of her two-year-old), with only one screw driver required; everything else snaps together, which is fantastic!.

The kids in the neighborhood can't get enough of it because it's so simple to make. I also appreciate how light it is, as this allows us to store it easily in the garage. Simply set it up in the grass, unplug it when you're finished, and transport it to its garage storage location. It's that simple. Step 2 also sells replacement accessory kits for this and other water tables, which may be worth noting. The bucket that came with it was a hit with our daughter, but it got misplaced. I ordered a replacement kit for another water table from Step 2 that included the bucket as well as a few new toys.

This water table was purchased for my two grandchildren, ages 2 and 3. They are enamored with this table and the toys that come with it. It was very simple to put together, and as the grandma, I was able to do so in no time! Some water tables require tools and require extensive assembly, but this one was a breeze to put together and an excellent choice.
