I believe it would be difficult for a 9-year-old to fit inside the vehicle. It's a hit with my 5-year-old and 1-year-old grandkids. However, even the 5-year-old is a little cramped in the driver's seat.
Thank you so much for getting in touch with us at Step2. br>br>Underneath the blue body is a beige or clear vent plug that can be removed to assist with water drainage. Regards, Step2 Consumer Service br>br>
Although there is no cover, this is an excellent water car. It is a huge hit with my grandchildren.
That was never an issue for us.

Due to missing parts, I initially gave the item a one-star rating. When I received the toy, everything appeared to be in working order, but when we put it together, we discovered that several toys (the water mills and extras that attach to the back of the car) were missing. I contacted Amazon, but in order to obtain missing components, I needed to contact Step2. I sent an email with photos of my receipt and toy, as well as a list of the items that were missing. I received an email from Step2 within 24 hours stating that the parts were on their way to me. Despite the Covid crisis, the parts arrived in a timely manner; I'm very pleased with the service, and I can now say that I'm completely satisfied with my purchase. It is a hit with my toddler. It's bright, durable, and fun.
Thank- This item arrived almost 5 days earlier than expected, thanks to you and your delivery team. I was looking forward to adding this water toy to our entertainment during these times when I was stuck at home entertaining a 2 and 4 year old while working. The product is excellent, and it has been enjoyed by people of all ages. I particularly enjoy the windshield wipers, which simulate a real car effect and provide a fun gameplay element. The only thing that could be improved is the assembly instructions, which should be updated to use a power drill rather than a screwdriver. It's impossible to manually install all of those bolts with just a screwdriver. br>Thank you, br>satisfied customer.
This car is adorable, but it comes in a lot of pieces and takes a long time to assemble. A purple broken piece of plastic fell out with the bag of items that attach to the car as I was putting it together. This was a wheel part, so it no longer fits securely and is unlikely to "swish" water off the windshield, which was the primary reason I bought it. I am extremely dissatisfied; no one should be receiving defective merchandise, regardless of how much they pay. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> The steering wheel isn't even going to stay on the car. The green pipe in the back also won't stay in place; we don't even play with the toy, and it falls out. So far, I've had a really bad time!.
It was simple to assemble, but I docked a star because the hardware and plastic toys were both opened when we opened the box. It had to be a comeback, right? As a result, the hardware was just loose in the box and among the toy's parts and pieces, and we had to dig through them to find what we could. We ended up with a surplus of one. We needed three of the 25-inch screws, but we didn't have any. The top is held in place by 75-inch screws. There were only five of us. We were able to use the extra longer screw in place of one of the shorter ones, but there are no screws on the inside of the front, and we tried contacting the company's customer service, but they were closed. Anyway, it works for now, but it would have been nice to not have had those issues, and I'm not sure if all of the toys that were supposed to be included were included or if some were missing. However, the children enjoy it, which makes me happy.
My 5-year-old son is obsessed with automobiles. This water table is ideal because he can operate all of the mechanisms and will not outgrow it for quite some time. It took me about 20 minutes to set it up. We don't have a pool, so this will be our summer outdoor activity for the next few months! No pilot holes were required (as one reviewer suggested), but an electric screwdriver made it super fast.
My brother-in-law took some time to put it together, but once it was done, it kept all four of my children (2-year-old, 2-year-old, 2-year-old, and 2-year-old) entertained. For about 2 hours, I kept my 5-year-old entertained and happy! They each had their own play area in which they rotated. It was well worth the money to see them all so happy and get along so well for such a long time.
It wasn't difficult to put together, but because I'm not a particularly strong woman, I had to do some of it by myself because my children couldn't wait for their father to return; they adore it. It's easy to move around (as long as there's no water on it, of course). This is a fantastic toy!.
