The night before he turned 5, we wanted to buy sand toys for the beach for my five-year-old son, I honestly don't know why I even bought them at $9 if all he would do is break them after a few uses, am I right? This is incorrect! The quality of these is amazing. My kids had a " pulling war " with the bucket over who had it first. It did not break, which is what I was expecting. I will continue to buy this brand. They are thick and do not bend when digging hard into packed wet sand ( or dirt in our backyard). This is my first review of sand toys . (Never thought I would brag or write a review. As for me, this is where I am. There should be some meaning in that! )

Although I was expecting the bucket to be more bendy like the ones we take to the beach every summer, the bucket is made of hard plastic that is not easily broken and doesn't bend. There is a good chance that this will last for years! The product was actually purchased to help with the cleaning of my nano tank. It was less difficult to use the smaller size tools for my smaller betta tanks since I have 1 gallon, 3 gallon, and 5 gallon Betta tanks in different stages of cycling. These smaller tanks require frequent water changes, etc. , so the smaller size tools were ideal overall. Despite the fact that they would be perfect for a toddler to take to the beach, these are perfect for me. TIMEX is what comes to mind.
