For my 18-month-old, this is the ideal slide. Although the instructions were useless, I was able to put it together with the help of common sense. It only took me about 10 or 15 minutes to put it together, and that was with my eager tot helping and trying to play with it while I was still putting it together by myself. It was confusing when I pulled the parts out of the box and looked at the instructions, so I had to hold it up with her weight on it while I fastened the nuts, etc. It's super simple assembly in hindsight, but it was confusing when I pulled the parts out of the box and looked at the instructions. br> This is a good, sturdy slide with a gentle slope. I am confident that it will be secure. Before I bought it, I did a lot of research and I'm very pleased with it. It's small, but it'll last her a few years, and I needed something that would fit in a small office space (she works with me). It fits perfectly with plenty of room to spare and is large enough to last a few years. My toddler's reaction to it has blown me away. She's usually more cautious and wary, but she was all over this slide right from the start!.
In terms of functionality, I really like this slide. It's very sturdy, and no matter how hard my little girl tries to climb up it, it doesn't tip over or back. My only gripe is that one of the round plastic screw caps on the bottom of the slide kept falling off.
My son enjoys it, and I appreciate how small it is and how long the slide is rather than being short and steep. Instead of others who fall off, he glides away gently. This is critical for teething infants!.
Parts that were left over. For our one-year-old grandson, it's a fantastic slide. We are, however, in our senior years. Toy assembly is something I'm not used to.
