Birds (of any kind) are her favorite. No matter what kind they are, she loves to look at them. Grandma and Pa Pa like to carry around these when they go on walks, so I thought she would love them. These binoculars have done a great job for me. When I go on a hiking trip with my grand kids I can see pretty far thanks to the glasses, and I can't wait till I can use them. These are a great gift for my daughter! She gives them a 5 out of 5! There is only one thing that she would like to see them larger. piece is made from a soft silicone material that makes it comfortable for bird watching for long periods of time. Upon walking through our neighboring trees, we were pleasantly surprised to see so many bird nests. I looked in them personally, and they are very clear. If you focus, you may be able to see up to a mile or two away.
