I received it in an attractive, squishable bag that measures approximately 6" by 8". Putting it in a bag would be easy. I love how easily it flies and how much fun it is!
With an octopus-shaped kite that came with a bridle already attached, this kite is ideal for children with limited coordination. The handle of the kite bridle was covered in kite line. To attach the kite bridle, simply tie the kite line to it. The wind was strong enough that I made more than a few knots. Floating on water, the octopus head is made up of a hollow shell filled with air. It has legs because of the streamers. You can do it in no time at all. The kids waited while I got it ready in a few minutes. Impatience or boredom did not cause anyone to die. This is good news.
Light and almost silky, it's really comfortable to wear.
There is a spool of plastic attached to it.

This purchase has been very satisfactory for me. Even though I was somewhat skeptical about the product after reading negative reviews, I promptly purchased it for $10 and am glad that I did, though I also decided to purchase the Prism Bora 2 at the same time just to make sure that my upcoming kite outing would be successful. In general, the instructions aren't very useful at all. Although I realize you don't need much instruction to fly this thing, you do need to be aware of certain things. Anyone who is fully uninitiated only needs to be cautious about their bridle (the string attached to the ) isn't knotted except for one knot at the end. The bridle line on my kite had loose knots, which I assume made it easier for the factory to fold and pack the kite. As I read a few of the bad reviews, I feel this may have been something that others missed. On Sunday (April 7), I took this kite out for its maiden voyage. About 10 mph winds blowing and a fairly clear field, a favorite spot for kite flying in my area, was in the back of my mind. As I walked the line out, my 4 year old held the kite as I unpacked it. I let about 50ft of line out of the kite. I counted to three, gave it a little tug, and straight up the plane I was so pleased with how it flew, how it looked, and how much my boys enjoyed It was the best purchase I could have made. * Please don't be misled by the negative reviews and the call for a more durable kite. If you are not familiar with kite flying, especially for those who have read the bad ones, please disregard those who say the kite needs a stronger structure. It is obvious that these people are not knowledgeable about the subject. There are soft parafoil kites (they function similarly to parachutes), these get their structure from the wind, which essentially inflates the kite and gives it its The kites I have flown are some of the strongest, most reliable, and easiest to fly among all the kites.
To prevent the line from coiling and getting twisted, make sure the string has a spinner or "swivel" (such as a fishing line swivel) connector. Kite does not come with a line or handle - those are included in the package. it, it didn't fly as well as it could have because the coiling of the line tightened the bridle strings and prevented it from fully inflating. Anglers can get swivels at any store that sells fishing lines for a cheap price.
Definitely a fantastic kite! When it comes down to it, this thing is so very easy to fly! We tried several kites before trying this one, but this one was the best A simple task. Our order for a 500' string and a spool from Amazon was as follows A 1,000' string can be found on Amazon as follows Leaving out the 500' sting and replacing it with 1,000' (1,000' will fit on the The 1,000' of cable unraveled in no time at all and the kite was in the air in no time at all We're flying high in the sky! The park was full of family members, so we called them from there. There was no doubt that they could see it from Thanks to my planning, I was able to avoid this situation. With my power drill connected to the spool, I was able to drill holes. Unless we took the kite back via the sea, it would have taken an eternity to get it One issue with the kite is that all the short strings which connect to it have a high tendency to become tangled (when it is not flying, but when it is being removed or inserted into a discovered that if some of the strings are tangled (making some strings effectively shorter due to the tangle), the kite will no longer fly properly.
Kite flying is a big part of our social life because we live near the beach. The reason I like this one so much is because it is large enough for people to see. Additionally, it is very easy to fly and no-need to take it seriously (in a positive Our usual method of tying it to our wagon or chair is to let it fly. Having this mark out a place for us to return to from the water or so that our friends can find us can help. As well as being easy to fly and handle, it also has great performance. The kite of my five-year-old son flies regularly. He gets it into the air on his own with only minimal help from an adult. It is not the case that the string is tangled. This is a very easy process You may want to tangle the wire if necessary.
I'm so impressed! We flew the kite in a compact space with a light breeze, as well as in an open space with a moderate breeze. I have seen it perform superbly on every occasion. This is great news for us. We ended up lacing a belt through the bobbin and around Mr Three's waist as an added measure of security. reached its limit ("It's TOO FAR Away! This kite and another (the black kite in the photo) were bought for my 7 and 5-year-old granddaughters to fly on a beach along with this one. They loved them both! Kites like the squid kite were easy to fly and control even by a young child as they are very light and convenient. In spite of the kite landing in the ocean one day, we were able to pull it out and let it dry on the beach for a couple hours. We were able to fly it again after that. It comes with a reusable bag and string, which makes it convenient for storage and use. As you see, there are no clips on this one (the string needs to be tied on). However, we just fished for five minutes. One afternoon, we adults enjoyed flying the kites with the grandchildren (along with the grandchildren. will fly it again next year. Thanks for the kite!.
