I bought 2 of them for a kite flying trip with my 8 and 11 year old sons who had never flown I loved that the bags with a carry handle were easy to assemble and that the assembly was easy. Despite the fact that each of these was a beginner kite, they easily outperformed another similar beginner kite flown nearby. This is a good sign, because people watching seemed to be interested in where to buy one. It was also a good idea to include extra parts and snap-lock fishing swivels. A 1 star lesser rating is due to the balance issue with one of the kites. Also, if the side struts were attached to the center strut rather than loose, I would think the kite would be more balanced. My overall conclusion is that this is a good kite, and the kids enjoyed it.
Last night, I flew my kite. As I sat on a beach on a nice warm day holding a string, I was reminded of my youth and how enjoyable it can be to watch some nylon flapping in the wind as I sat there. Even after two hard crashes, all parts are still intact. The product is good. The warranty is good. I receive a lot of emails from them, which is strange. It seems to me like a small company trying to make a name for itself. In other words, they are headed in the right direction. It took less than a minute for it to take off. During the hour that I stayed up, I listened to the news. I have owned the best kite of my life. The one you will not regret is the one you should buy. There are a lot of kite flyers here. Nope, unlike most of the reviews for things here, I wasn't given anything in exchange for writing.
At first I was a little skeptical about this no name brand kite, but after reading the reviews, I decided to give it a shot. As usual, I got the kite quickly, but it was predicted that the winds would be calm on the day of the flight. I noticed that there was a beach nearby as soon as we got there. Our kite was flying in a slight breeze, so we took it out. I threw it up on a string and hooked it onto the string. It's going to be a blast. flown it several times now with varying wind speeds and can tell you at least to me that it seems to fly a little better than my Prism Zenith 5 Delta 1 kite purchased with it. You can fly both kites just fine, but with this kite you will be able to enjoy it for a lifetime for a little less money.
What a great kite this is! My purpose for buying the kite was to take it to Lake Michigan on a sentimental trip in which I knew it would not require a lot of skill or activity once it was up in the air. Our trip would not be complete without this kite. Despite being small (barely) and easy to assemble, I was able to take it with me on vacation. In preparation for my review of this kite, I have purchased a reel and line. The kite was simple to fly once it was airborne, and it was fun to fly. There were a couple of highlights A tree got in the vehicle's way when it got stuck. It was not feasible to climb the tree, although it was seriously considered. In the absence of other options, brute force had to be used The kite was yanked from the tree by force. It was attached to a VERY sturdy reel and line, so we didn't have any other option but to take out the kite. Despite being flexible enough to withstand such abuse, the plastic rods were able to hold up well. It was my honest belief that we would have to disconnect the reel and consider the kite a complete loss and lesson learned, but the kite returned with us the next day to fly again. The thrill of flying a kite isn't something you get to experience once in a while. That's why this model is great if you just want to fly a kite occasionally.
There is a low level of A product of this quality would cost at least twice as much. The flight was canceled after one attempt. Kites for $5 at my supermarket were a better quality than those at my local supermarket.
Flying is this kite's favorite activity and it spends most of its time in the air. The ball did hit the ground a few times, but there was no It was difficult to get it to stay on the ground during the process of putting it away. Because the wind ripped it out of my hands and tossed it back into the air so many times. It's a good idea to remove the cross bar as soon as possible to keep it out of the way. Having this kite on hand was the perfect gift for our young family, and now we look forward to windy days in the future. By the way, the strut and tail are both extras that came with it and it sewed back into its case perfectly so easy storage. Only because of how difficult it was to attach the string to the kite and how badly it tore up my nails did this kite lose a star. Having to deal with the clasp was a problem.
I ran it a few times against strong winds, and soared instantly until the rope came to an end. At the very least, it would be more useful with a double cord length. After a year, here is an update You'll find the handle crumbles after a few flights, as it is made of cheap materials. In addition, on average, it takes a year for the cord to twist and deform beyond repair, since that handle does most of the work. Although the kite itself is great and made well, I would recommend changing the cord and handle to a more robust set up, since it is shaped well and the kite itself is excellent. Construction was completed.
My disappointment keeps returning year after year as my kites break easily, the lines tangle, and they fly poorly if they fly It was a wise decision for me to splurge on this more expensive kite this year, and I could really tell the difference. In addition to the material being sturdy, the line is easy to tangle and I find the kite really easy to fly even if conditions are bad. If you are looking for a kite that you won't throw away the day you open it, this is a great choice.
