The book might be good for older children, but not very young ones. The separate containers for each parachute surprised me with their size. The package was well packed and very nice. Opening one and trying it out was fun. I really like how well made it is. Trying to throw it up in the air seems difficult since it is difficult to make it reach high enough to be of any use. Several different methods of throwing it up were tried. None of them seemed to work well. I cannot get the illusion that it is opening and floating down because it comes down too fast. To summarize, if the arm were dropped from a height, like stairs, a slide, or a skyscraper, it would break the arm. You'd be surprised how well that would work. The only way to get it to work well was to throw it high enough, even for my husband who is 6 feet tall. These are the bags we got as gifts. In fact, we still intend to give them to kids as we are confident that they will find a way to use them. This is a cute, well made idea that I think is great. It's a challenge to figure out how you can make them.
A "terrorist invasion" was all he could think about once he got home. This coworker declared these to be "awesome" and much improved over the ones he had as a kid.
It is available in bright colorful designs, and it is made to withstand being thrown without breaking (like cheaper models). While my kids have trouble getting them high enough to open the big parachute, they still have fun trying and enjoy watching me throw it so they float to the ground. The wind is a big part of the fun as well. The first set was only sent to me (which was likely due to complications during the CIV19 process) but after contacting them they quickly sent the remaining 3.
I love it when my 6 and 5 year old grandsons throw these off the back deck, they must climb up and down the stairs several times before they can even get into the house! This helps them wind down as they go to bed!.
The fact they don't tangle makes me very happy. These are the only parachute men who haven't tangled after we've had several different types. Within a week or two, however, most of the shirts were ripped and no longer usable. Having said that, I may purchase them again in the future for a cheap price. As a matter of fact, our boys love to launch them outside, There is just one thing I wish. They aren't as well-made as they could be.
I didn't believe that they would be so good. It is mesh on the underside of the parachute and it has a single ribbon to hang the guy by. You don't have to worry about little strings getting tangled. I like the size of the parachute, and the guy is also fine. This floating object can be thrown upward and thrown downward. My kids have the little ones, so this is a vast improvement. I'm very pleased with this The value is excellent. Invest in an extra set so that you can give one.
The sets are so much better than the plastic ones I purchased previously. My nephew and I have gone through many of the plastic sets and these are so much nicer. It's great to play on a windy day with some of these, that set I had, and we played with it for hours and hours If an updraft occurs, they'll catch it- Over the past few weeks, they have flown up and over our garage and landed in a I had such a great time.
Originally, I had thought they would be perfect for a back yard playset, but the loft on our second floor is open for kids to climb on. We threw them down to the kids below on Christmas Day, and the kids had a lot of fun. I like how easily they open. You can have fun without spending a lot of money. Whether or not they will hold up is still up in the air. Those who fall apart soon will get a note from me.
