Melissa & Doug Fire Truck Jumbo Jigsaw Floor Puzzle (24 pcs, 4 feet long)

) loves Melissa and Doug jumbo floor puzzles, so I thought this fire truck puzzle would be a nice Christmas present for him. It has the same appeal as our other puzzles. We opened it this morning and he loved it too. Since the pieces are jumbo, he is able to maneuver them easily, and seeing the puzzle is shaped like a fire truck, rather than a picture with a fire truck in it, makes it even more interesting to It is very fun for him to push up and down the floor like a car. There is a seam down the middle of the fire truck where there is an uneven alignment as you can see in the picture circled in my hand. It is the only complaint I have about it. The pieces along the seam are not only visually irritating, (I don't think my boys care as much about the slightly off alignment as I do), but are also more difficult to connect. It's like two fire truck puzzles that were shaped differently. It was still possible to force them to fit, but I am a little disappointed since it makes it significantly harder for young children to do the puzzle without help. I'm taking off a star for that. As we reassemble it a few times after removing and reassembling the pieces along the middle seam, I hope they will go together a bit more smoothly.

There is less than a week left before we have to dispose of this puzzle. I took pictures of it while it was still in good condition. The price is $13, which should be a good deal! A picture I posted of a puzzle my son has had since Christmas can be seen here. This block has been played with many times and is still in perfect condition. There are a couple of slight love marks on the shirt, but otherwise it is still in great condition that I can pass it on to my next son once he grows up, even though he is still a baby. There is no way I will keep this puzzle. Though my toddler loves it, it is falling apart, and I will sadly return it since I cannot justify paying $13 for something that I won't even be able to give The second of my two. I can imagine how disappointed the 5 year old will feel when this is returned. It is likely that you are more disappointed than I am in its shoddy workmanship!.

While I can put together a number of puzzles pretty well, this one was a little difficult for me to do with my son. It's not that he's not good, but that he's also had struggle. The situation became so stressful that he burst into tears. It is our pleasure to serve M&M It was the first time I used D products, but eventually it went into the closet. Other than the 4 corner puzzles, they have all the other standard puzzles we would like. I just can't do it. We definitely are not the type of child who can handle having to figure out something that takes a minute however, if you have a patient child, this might be ok.

His first "real" puzzle was probably on my tablet, as we had previously done puzzles on my tablet. While it was a little challenging, with help he managed to complete the task. It was priceless to see the look on his face when we finished! "Let's try it again!" It was a squeal of joy! It was taken apart and put back together twice more. All the pieces seem to be sturdy, and they are large enough to be handled with ease. Additionally, I bought the barnyard shaped puzzle, but I haven't yet opened it.

This child is 5 years It was a must get for her since she loves fire trucks and puzzles. It was a little disappointing that after putting it together the first time, a couple corners were already detaching from the cardboard, but they haven't gotten any worse. There is a good and bad to having things fit tightly. It was no problem for me to handle all of the abuse I put it through as a kindergarten teacher. During center time, we would use this puzzle every day. There were other floor puzzle options, so I chose this one because it looked like a firetruck more than other.
