I gave this to my 3 year old Dino lover as a gift and he absolutely loved it. The puzzle is very interesting! In response, I made a call to the company and asked for information about the dinosaurs' names. It was very kind of them to send me an email with a dinosaur key in response to my questions.
It was hot and heavy after my 3-year-old son got into the wooden Melissa and Doug puzzles that have wooden trays (not the ones where the animals are their own shapes and fit into one place) and he put it together in no time. So we tried this puzzle. I think this one is a great upgrade from those and it's under $10 which is a great price. While the pieces are definitely larger, they have a good amount of detail in each one so my kid can figure it out pretty much by himself the first time, with minimal help, and despite just getting it last night, he has already done it twice and nearly all by himself the second time. I think it hits that sweet spot of being not too challenging to turn him off, but challenging and easy enough with an interesting enough picture that he can continue to do it. There is no problem with quality As each piece is a heavy glossy cardboard, the pieces fit together easily when they are suppose to, but when they aren't, you are unable to easily force them to fit together as you can with a smaller puzzle, reducing the confusion for young puzzlers. The dino piece was chosen by me because I liked the dinos, but also because the color scheme was clear enough that it was easy to tell which pieces went with which dino, although it's still a little difficult to tell as there are many colored dinos. looked through a lot of dino puzzles and this one appeared to be one of the best ones out there, in terms of price and picture.
The puzzles by Melissa & Doug are very popular with my son, who is 3 years old. In light of his previous skills with "Underwater" and "Solar System," we went ahead and got him this dinosaur one since it is a little more challenging (the box states it is for ages 4 and up, while the rest are for ages 3 and up). I get to put something else around the house while he does the puzzle, which is great because he takes about 20 minutes to complete it. His first couple of times he needed a little help, but after that he began to figure out which pieces went where and is able to complete it all by himself. Putting away stuff is one of his pet peeves, so clean up time doesn't always go smoothly. There was no way we could learn the names of the dinosaurs if the puzzle did not include labels to identify them.
In the first place, I would like to say that the product is excellent. However, I would rate this USED puzzle higher in regards to the handling. bought this puzzle for my grandsons who enjoy puzzles and learning about dinosaurs, but one piece of the puzzle wasn't present, so they were not able to finish Some of the pieces were already connected when we opened the box. There was no plastic wrap on the pieces. Although the pieces looked brand new to me, I didn't pay attention to them. Yet, to my surprise, I now know why the pieces were not in plastic wrap, and why they were connected. There is evidence that this product has been used! As an Amazon associate, your goal should be to ensure that the content materials on the USED product are intact before redistributing it. Not only that, but the price should also be reduced, if a customer wants to purchase the USED product. The problem is that when I placed my order, I expected a NEARLY BRAND NEW puzzle, not a used one. I am very disappointed with the handling of this merchandise. I will be returning it.
This puzzle was one of three I got for my son in addition to the solar system and the under the sea. My granddaughter is old enough to drive. As she's gotten better at assembling them, she's become more proficient. This is an excellent game for learning about these topics, as well as logic, small motor coordination, and having The pieces in each of the 3 puzzles are exactly the same size, so we mix them up and arrange them. I've had a lot of fun putting dinosaur parts in the ocean and parts of planets with dinosaurs on them. After I finish this puzzle, I'll probably move onto the endangered animals puzzle.
I'll never stop him from being a stereotype, and rumor has it he's a cliche. In order to give him a puzzle, I bought him one. Like some kind of wizard he goes through them like they are nothing. Same with legos, train sets, etc. I have absolutely loved doing It was so exciting when he was able to show off his puzzle solving skills to his grandma over facetime. Please let kids do puzzles more than once without getting annoyed. What do they do? Is anyone aware of the answer? Nevertheless, Melissa & her family are always happy to have him as a child There are several products by Doug.
I have to use tape to hold them together after a week as they are all torn up. My kids play with this puzzle everyday, so every time I replaced it, I should've got my money back, but it would've put a damper on their day since they play with it every It's probably best to just tape them back with clear gorilla tape when they separate. It costs too much for me to have to replace them each month.
Colorful images and clearly defined edges make the edges of the images stand out. Children's educational toys made by this brand have always been enjoyable to purchase for me, and I will continue to do so. It is a product that you will really like!.
