Questions & Answers
Thank you very much for your query. When you press the "scanner," it emits a scanning beep and a light shines. With each press of the scanner, the amount on the cash register rises with random "prices," allowing you to pretend to eat any food. There is no actual barcode scanning.
I'm not sure because I ordered it for someone else. "Yes, the drawer does open," I just confirmed with that individual.
Yes, it has a convincing ring to it.
1 inch in diameter and a quarter-inch thick thickness of one inch For my two, it's fine to play. I keep them away from my one-year-old, who is five years old.

Every time I make a purchase, I get money back. LoL! br>Not to mention the small speaker. (On aisle 5, clean up. ) lmao) This is an awesome toy. I would strongly suggest it. I had originally bought another brand, but it was so poorly made that I returned it and ordered this one instead, and I'm so glad I did. Very good quality!.
This was purchased for my 17-month-old son, who enjoys assisting me in the grocery store. He's interested enough in it, and he's having fun scanning items and pulling the cash drawer out, but I'm still kicking myself for spending $30 on it. The accessories are extremely inexpensive (I seriously considered discarding half of them), and the machine itself is of poor quality. Our microphone is broken, the cash drawer is difficult to close, requiring constant assistance from my toddler, and coins get stuck in the slot when you try to put them in. The worst part for my husband and me is that there is no volume control, and we both think it's way too loud (despite the fact that we have a lot of noisy toddler toys!). We actually covered the speaker with tape to muffle the sound. It's still audible, but not to the point of being deafening. I doubt I would have paid more than $15 for it if I had first seen it in person. I'm not going to be able to get the register and accessories back into the packaging because they were a pain to remove. I'm just hoping it lasts a little longer than I expect!.
This was a gift for my 3-year-old daughter, and she absolutely adores it! When you scan things, the scanner lights up and makes noises, and after scanning, random prices appear on the screen, which it then adds up. When you put the coins through the slot, they add up as well. My daughter enjoys cutting up the fruits, and I appreciate how the insides of the fruits are the correct color once they've been cut open. Other fruits are a single solid color when cut open. To make the money last a little longer, I'm going to laminate it. But it was a fantastic purchase, and I'm very pleased with it!.
The microphone's cord severed within 4 months of purchase, without it being abused by the grandkids (there are two tiny metal wires inside, so it's no surprise), leaving it hanging limply and rendering it useless. That was the most appealing feature to them. / The front of the drawer has begun to come off every time they open it, and I agree with those who have complained that the cash does not fit properly in the drawer. At this point, I'm on the verge of pitching it. But it appears that some people enjoy it. Is it possible that they got a good one? If you purchase this item, you are, in my opinion, taking a chance.
I'm on my third attempt to leave a review because Amazon keeps deleting them. Because of Amazon's poor packaging, the cellophane was ripped and the item was exposed, so if you're planning on giving this as a gift, I'd avoid it. I was unpacking it anyway because it was a "Santa" present, so it didn't bother me. br>br>As a result, the item is only fair. The volume is EXTREMELY LOUD; if my memory serves me correctly, children's toys should be in the 80/90 decibel range, and this is probably three times that. It's deafening, and it hurts my ears as an adult; I can't imagine the damage it's causing to children's ears. I tried covering the speaker, but I discovered there are two speakers, one for the buttons and one for the microphone part, and the loud speaker is internal, so it cannot be found and taped over to reduce the noise. The microphone speaker is already soft, so there is no need to muffle it. I'm stuck because removing the batteries or turning it off makes it useless to my kids. They enjoy playing with it, but it is not suitable for anyone's ears, let alone children's. My kids have only had it for two days and are already complaining that it is too loud, but when does a kid ever complain about something being too loud? You know it's bad because you've never done it before. In addition, the drawer does not fully open, which irritates both of my children. It gets stuck and has to be forced open, which is inconvenient and likely won't last long before it breaks completely. br>br>I like that it came with larger coins, making it safer for my two-year-old to play with, and they like the food cutting items. Overall, I would not recommend it because of the terrible volume, the stuck drawer, and the lack of a volume reduction option.
A smidgeon of buyer's remorse has set in. I wanted a cash register that would be entertaining for my three-year-old, but that didn't have small coins that would pose a choking hazard as my four-month-old grew older. I'd wanted to get him some cutting fruit for a while, and this one seemed perfect; he loves it. The quality, on the other hand, appears to be adequate. The coins are large, which is exactly what I was looking for, but the paper play money is tiny. However, the drawer is still the wrong size. The caps on the small plastic containers were very easy to remove. I threw away the caps because they are a perfect choking hazard. "Fruit candy" and "milk biscuit" are among the oddities on the boxes. I suppose I should've paid more attention to the image. My son enjoys inserting coins and watching them go through the calculator, as well as cutting fruit. The screen's sticker is beginning to peel away.
It was purchased for a four-year-old girl who enjoys pretending to be a cashier. The register is solid and attractive in appearance, but the microphone is broken. She enjoys "beeping" each item and placing it in a bag, as well as putting the cash in a drawer so she doesn't lose track of the microphone. The accessories are entertaining, but they are a little flimsy - Boxes made of soft cardboard and plastic bottles that will break easily. Thankfully, she has other toy food sets to fill in the gaps. So far, she's had a great time!.
