Questions & Answers

What is the recommended age for using a cash register?

I'm not sure what the manufacturer suggests, but my two-year-old twins (ages 1 and 2) love it. It was a big hit with all four people. There are no small parts, and it's a toy that can be used repeatedly. I hope this information is useful:

Is it possible to get new coins?

On eBay, I discovered a few for sale. However, the seller may demand a large sum of money in exchange for a handful of plastic coins. They aren't worth the $10. It is sometimes cheaper to buy a whole cash register with coins rather than just the coins. I hope this information is useful. Look for used children's clothing and toys at your local thrift shop.

Do you offer shipping to the Caribbean island of Jamaica?

Ya mon!

The retro cash register coins are too large and jam the change drawer when stacked vertically! Is there any chance of a refund or a replacement?

Contact the seller or Amazon for more information. It should not be a problem if the item is defective or within the return period. This is, however, the best of its kind. br>Little tikes coins become stuck, but Melissa and Doug's version is made of wood.

The toy isn't the same! This is a shoddy product, and the toy's concept has been changed
3/5

To get it to work, a child does not need to match the color of the coins with the item/button, and changing the color of the drawer to blue does not match the color of the sale button or the drawer's handle. This toy was a huge let down for me. I own the original and would love to have more of the same design and quality to pass down to my grandchildren. I'm glad I only bought one instead of the three I required.

Simply put, it was made for a very low price
3/5

Because you can't give a zero, this was given one star. It had only been out of the box for a few minutes before it broke. Simply put, it was made for a very low price. I eventually settled on an eBay purchase from the 1970s or 1980s. Do not purchase this item, and tell Fisher Price to stop cutting corners and ruining classic toys.

This item is popular with my children, but the quality is disappointing
4/5

This item is popular with my children, but the quality is disappointing. All of my Fisher-Price items have been saved by my mother. Price toys remind me of my childhood, and these are the first toys that my children choose to play with, but the quality of Fisher-Price toys is superior. Toy prices have changed significantly over the last 30 years. The plastic feels lighter, and the coins tend to get stuck in the slots on a regular basis. It's still a great toy, and my kids aren't aware of any differences, but I recall the old toy and am disappointed.

I'm sure it'll be a hit with my kids
4/5

The primary motivation for me to write this review is to. This cash register is adorable. I'm sure it'll be a hit with my kids. My primary motivation for writing this review is to inform everyone that only six coins are included. Although you can see it on the packaging in the photo, the description clearly states that there are nine coins. I'm not sure if three coins is a deal breaker for anyone, but only six are included.

CHEAP! Is it technically correct to say that it does the same thing as the original? Sort of
3/5

Because all of the coins are the same size and fit into all of the slots, the lesson is lost, and they use the cheapest plastic they can find. There is no texture, and there is no weight. The mechanisms appear to be on the verge of collapsing at any moment. It was purchased for my one-year-old daughter. He's five years old because he's not old enough for the one my five-year-old has. I had hoped that they would be able to play at the same time, but I am disappointed. My mother has the original, so it's not like I'm going off on a tangent. It is a waste of time. Yes, it's nostalgic, and yes, it's appealing to look at on the shelf. We'll have fun with it, but they should be embarrassed, in my opinion. I have some of the other remade retro merchandise, and it isn't nearly as bad as this.

Fisher- It's a biff for Price
3/5

I've had one of these for years and recently purchased another for my 3-year-old daughter. year- nephew who is a bit older Unfortunately, the new model depicts the coins as being three different sizes when they are all the same size; this is an educational toy, and Fisher-Price has reduced its value by cheapening it. Price deprives children of the opportunity to learn from a once-in-a-lifetime teacher. a fantastic toy I'm in a bit of a ripped-up state. off.

This toy is a big hit with the grandchildren! Okay, so it's not EXACTLY the same size as the original, but my grandkids love playing with it over and over again, so the slight difference in size doesn't seem to bother them
5/5

It keeps their attention for longer than most toys, and it's held up admirably considering how rough these two boys (both 3 years old) can be with toys! While having fun, it aids in the teaching of counting and colors. I'm overjoyed to see a simple toy that doesn't require batteries keep kids' attention for more than 5 minutes! This is a toy that I wholeheartedly recommend!.

It has a lot of replay value
5/5

I expected my son to enjoy it, but I was surprised at how much he did. He isn't usually one for toys, but he has spent hours upon hours dropping coins into the slots and watching them emerge into the various openings. He's only two and a half years old, but he already enjoys working with it. As his play adapts to his age, it will be beneficial to him for many years to come. One thing that surprised me about this one is that all of the coins are the same size, whereas previous versions had different sizes for each type of coin so that children could learn how to sort by size and color.
