As with most of Melissa and Doug's products, the product itself is of high quality. There is a lot of choice when it comes to tops, skirts, hair pieces, and shoes. I was impressed by how many different ways I can switch items around. Additionally, I like the fact that it is made of wood, so it should last for a much longer time than Watching one of the little girls play with it and keeping her attention for a long time kept my attention as well as my three-year-old. The old-fashioned way As the wood box does not have a lid, you will need to place all of the pieces in a ziplock bag once you remove the plastic wrap. I wish Melissa and Doug had created a piece of wooden cover that would slide inside of the box and shield the pieces from being lost.

I love it the best gift for the fireman birthday theme of my son. I play with it with both my kids and they both It is true that there are very small pieces that can get lost quite easily, and I had to look high and low a few times for some of the pieces, but there is something for both boys and girls here. One note of criticism is the paper on the exterior edges where the picture is on the pieces is peeling a bit, but not to the point I don't think it damages the piece. Maybe put a thin coat of clear coat to prevent that from happening.

My order arrived exactly as pictured. It was packaged the same way I described it In addition to the plastic wrap around the outfits, there is a thicker piece of plastic that fits into the left side of the tray (a little piece of plastic over the outfits). There's a video here on Amazon that shows you a dark pink stand (lower right corner of tray) and says you can slide her in and take her with you. I am giving it 4 stars and not 5 because this video shows you that. One step later, she fell to the floor, her clothes falling off! We had just put her in and were trying to bring her from the kitchen table into the living room when she fell to the ground! It's nice to be able to put her in the stand, but it's very wobbly and if you move around with her in it, you won't be able to keep her in the stand. Even though I can hold her in as an adult while walking around now that I know she will fall, my three year old cannot and now has no interest in using the stand (which is a bummer). The only problem is that I think it's so cute, and she hasn't put it down since we got.
