A child can tire of many toys, just as they do with most things. The 5 yr old granddaughter of mine just gave it to me. (I gave it to her 2yrs ago.
This is a choking hazard for my 3 year-old. The shoes and crowns are cute, but it is a choking hazard. You might want to put those parts up? Can you play with your baby during his or her naps?
Since this was a birthday present for my granddaughter, I packaged it and gave it to her along with other toys. Not knowing where it was made, I did not notice where it was made.
The piece is held up by a wooden stand. It is simply a matter of sliding the doll

Neither Melissa nor Doug failed to score. The Little Mermaid and Belle are favorites of my 4 yo and 2 yo. Our family uses a ziplock bag every time we go on vacation, or when we go out for I just picked up Sophia and Peppa from a friend, so I'm sure both kids will continue to love one another even when we move. Despite this, some pieces are very small, so these are not good for children who constantly put things in their mouths. In my opinion, there are two. The effects of these on a 5 year old are hit-or-miss, so we must closely monitor her progress. It was a good purchase, and I would recommend it.
These figures and all the different costumes are very popular with my granddaughter. Snow White, Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, and Belle) who talk with each other, plan parties, and dress for parties together. Her knowledge of the movies these characters star in allows her to create situations and dialogue for hours. I am a big fan of both A quality toy that sparks imagination and encourages interactive play is created by the company.
The quality of this product is the same as those I have experienced with other Melissa and Doug products. All the items are wooden except for the images except for the magnets which seem to hold well. In those wooden magnets is a piece of paper pasted on top. The youngest of my nieces is still too young for this, but got ahold of a piece while her sister was playing with it and chewed it up. If you are concerned about that, and the dozens of tiny accessories, this may not be a good toy for you. It has a tiny tooth mark and some torn image, so if that is a concern, I would pass. The biggest drawback of this package is that there is no cover or accessory list, so it's impossible to ensure you get every piece you signed up for. My skirt collection may be missing two pieces, but I cannot say for sure. There is only a mention of "32+ pieces" on the package. It is a lot of traveling for my nieces with this, and the wooden box does not have a lid or cover to keep everything It was imperative to keep each piece intact with plastic wrap. This is definitely not a travel toy, which I found disappointing since it looked so compact. You must leave the tray at home and put all the pieces in a sealable bag to prevent The main reason I gave three stars is because of this.
The paper doll is a bit more durable and attractive than the old-fashioned paper dolls. There is no need to cut out pieces of flimsy paper, nor do you need to make it stand A wooden set like this is the way to go. I'm so excited!.
She gets a lot of enjoyment out of them, and to make it easier for her for him, I put them all on an ironing board (without a cover of course), with it adjusted so that she can stand or sit in her little chair.
The reason I cannot understand why a company that makes many amazing toys for all ages of children would make something that has 30+ pieces without any way to contain them is beyond me. I want Doug to make another generic mermaid dress - It is a dress-up figurine with a lid that slides into a groove on a box, transforming it into a TRANSPORTABLE toy instantly.
As with their other products, Melissa and Doug are known for the quality of their products. The toy was a huge hit with my five year old granddaughter, but I removed a star for the small pieces and accessories (that younger children can easily lose or swallow). It is difficult to solve magnetized puzzles. I would also like to see some kind of lid on the storage box.
This is a highly recommended product. There are a lot of great brands from Melissa and Doug that will last you a long time A good child's toy has a long shelf life. There are many toys out there that are so cheap that you throw them away after a while. That's why I'm so glad there's a company making toys you can pass on through generations, like the ones my parents built together and gave Paper dolls were my favorite toys as a child, but they always tore. The traditional paper doll is no longer available and wooden dolls provide a unique alternative. My kids especially loved that they sold Disney princesses and not generic characters, because they wanted to play with their favorite characters, and these were a big hit with my Disney-loving kids I have two nieces who love me.
