Well, it sounds like your two year old may enjoy this, but I recently got it for my grandaughter and she did not seem to be that interested She seems to be playing more with Barbie dolls and Fashion now that she is 4 years old. A child of two would seem too young to me in my first instinct. A lot of items have to be accounted for, as well as little bits.
The book is my granddaughter's favorite, and I bought it for her when she was three years old. decent size as well. You cannot put a top on it once you remove the plastic wrap. Wearing the clothes does seem to keep them in place quite well.
It was a great set for a three year old, but my 17 year old granddaughter, my 16 year old grandson, my ten year old granddaughter and I also enjoyed it very much! It is 61 years old and I bought a second set for my grandchildren to play with. I did not buy another for myself when I was 61.
I do not know of any clothes that have any connection to a profession. There's a fashion outfit for every occasion.
