A raised pattern can indeed be seen in the white set. There is a slight difference in the smoothness of the pink and blue sets, but raised dots are still visible.

I am a sucker for vintage tea sets, and this is one of the best around. Little details that make this so lovely and elegant. The set includes the following teapot with lid, creamer with lid, sugar cup, 2 cups with saucers, two stainless spoons, and a sweet little silver It is a gift for my niece who is nine years old Her friends and she would be able to fit in it just right. I enjoyed the first set very much. There was a broken cup in the package due to a packing error, not the fault of the seller. There was just no way for it to be packed properly. It was there on Christmas Eve without her knowing how they did it. As a result, I notified the seller and they immediately shipped out a new set. In order to ensure she received her present on time and in perfect condition, the seller went above and beyond. There are no words to describe how highly I recommend this seller. I appreciate that they stand by their product, which can be hard to find these days.
