You can tell that it's ceramic by the style. I bought the complete set for a mature 4 year old (after asking the girl's mother for input) and to my knowledge she has been using it fine. However, the set does appear to have a few cracks on it and some damage from being dropped. It might prove too difficult for a child of 2 years old. The answer probably depends on the age of the child and the level of supervision the child will receive.
There is no specific listing of volume or dimensions, but there is one that shows the teapot's dimensions. Here are the instructions for the teapot A 75''H by 5''W picture on a black background. The dimensions of the print are 75" wide by 5" high. "D" is 88"
There really is no way for me to know! My great grand daughter is getting it for me as a gift! I think her mom was planning to get some sort of basket. I think this is a great The only thing I would have liked to have seen with it was some sugar or creamer!

As a birthday gift for my grandniece, I bought her this super cute tea set. It was a pleasant surprise to receive it It is just the right size and looks good - This was done. The durability and sturdiness of the device has not yet been assessed as she has not had enough time to use it In the event that I had more information, I would update the review. The doll is breakable, but she has done well with porcelain dolls before, so I'm confident that she will be careful with this one, too. Apparently, she loved this tea set (and so did her cousin, who exclaimed that she preferred this tea set to the one she already owned). I found most of the tea sets I searched for online to be As a replacement, I ordered demitasse teaspoons to go with this set since they didn't come with spoons and a basket. This is an excellent set. However, I was hoping for a similar set with spoons and a basket, but that doesn't exist. Because what on earth is a child supposed to stir the tea with without little hands?.
The craftsmanship is poor, and I was very disappointed when my wife opened it today. There is a problem with the top fitting the teapot since it is not a perfect circle. In addition, there is a spot of white glaze, which is extremely visible. In addition, the gold ring around the top of the tea pot looks like it was painted by a This is astonishing given the price of the book. Quality control should have caught those errors. Originally, this was my daughter's big present, but I now have to process the entire process of returning it.
This set is for my daughter, who is almost 5 years old. It was important to me to find a teapot that could dispense real tea, rather than just pretending to. About 8 ounces of liquid can be held in the teapot. I love it! She does too! The value of it has been instilled in her, and she plays carefully with it. Playing tea with her sister, who is 2 years old, can pose a danger, so we keep an extra watch out for her. While it is recommended for children ages 8 and up, if there is adult supervision and they are not running around the house with it, there is not much concern about the set breaking (it is like allowing your child to use I have washed it a few dozen times and the gold details are still in place. I am very pleased with.
It's well made and cute. However, the only problem is the size is too small for my 8 year old.
The set is adorable, but I think I received a return because two of the cups have gooey stains inside and one cup has a small chip on the edge. The gift was not necessary and it was part of Christmas gifts so I did not return it. As she washed it up after opening it, she did not see the chip likewise, her neighbors haven't noticed it either. Obviously, the seller is not at fault since I'm sure the items were returned in boxes. Just be aware of returns before reselling them.
Toy tea sets tend to be smaller than real-life tea sets, but these are large enough for little hands, and the cups and plates are large enough to hold several items. A 7 year old girl has been filling cups with water and having little birthday parties for her dolls. Her 5 year old brother has even joined in the festivities. I am happy to report that the cups and plates have held up amazingly well throughout all the love and use. It was wonderful, just without a sugar bowl. The only complaint she had was that there wasn't one.
