It has been about a year since I bought my first ALEX The tea set is cute and durable and my grandchildren love it. It's been used for many tea parties with great success. I would like to suggest my friend's grandchildren get another one for their birthdays. I find it horrible that the lid for the teapot won't come off, and that you have to fill up the pot via the spout, and that all the tea cups leak during the party, so the tea party becomes a bigger In retrospect, I should have sent it back, but the kids I gave it to recently suffered a great loss and upset in their lives, and I could not take that away from them. As long as they played with it outside, or without "tea," their Grandma said they could. It was very embarrassing and disappointing for me because I've had good experiences with ALEX toys in the past.
The cute little tea set was purchased for my daughter for Christmas (2015), hoping it would replace the plastic set she had (a couple pieces were broken or lost) a storage box is included with the set. It was also a great selling point to have the little tea tray. Our first impression of the set was that it was perfect.
Here are some of the things 3 STARS (+3) - There is a teapot and cups that are the perfect size. I love the colors (and I can find them easily) for my daughter. There are a few issues we are facing - /* stars) This box does not seem sturdy enough to be used as a typical toy for toddlers. A few weeks later, the pretty design paper had begun to rip and the bottom had been compromised. I am* *br* In spite of being very bendy, the little tea tray does not revert to its original shape easily. In any case, we probably wouldn't buy this set again since the storage box and tray were the main reasons we purchased it. It is a pretty high price point considering the fact that neither product is durable.
I enjoyed this set very much. Having read the reviews, I knew the case would not live up to my expectations- There is no end to the ridiculousness of having a cardboard case, but oh well, And the cups are extremely There is a problem with- A couple of days after it was bought, the tea pot leaking at the point where the spout meets My grand-daughter is very upset about having to no longer use the tablet. I find this totally unacceptable and very disappointing. Due to the fact that all packaging and accessories have been thrown away, I do not believe that a return is possible. Although I think she can still play with the other items from this set, I would recommend not buying this set if your child actually wants to use the tea pot with liquid!.
This tea set is TINY compared to the big box. It's the right size for a large doll rather than a little boy, but my son loves it. The set had a lot of cute elements with a nice box, except for the size complaint. My daughter adores this gift I got her for her second birthday. I really love the size and how durable it is for her little hands. The latter can sometimes be seen walking through the house and sipping water out of her cup as she walks. Besides being easy to clean and extremely durable, it is also very easy to dry. Seeing as it came with a basket, she can keep all of her things safe as well. I washed it before she used it and to date, there hasn't been any rusting to speak of, so I hope that continues. Having tea parties is one of her favorite pastimes, so I bought this set as a Christmas gift from Santa for her. The vivid colors, the carrying case and the size of the set all caught my attention. The first time we had a tea party, I noticed there was water everywhere, so I just assumed my 4-year-old had accidentally spilled a drink. My cleaning didn't stop the problem from happening Our next tea party was cleaned up, so we had another one the next I had again experienced the same thing, water everywhere, except this time my daughter had not yet sat down with me. While picking up the tea cups, I noticed they were all heavily dripping. As I picked up the teapot, I saw that it also leaked, and not just a little. For these reasons, I would say this is a fine set if you plan on using it for pretend tea parties, however, if you wish to place anything liquid in it then keep looking because I will have to add another set because now I have to buy another one.
These tea sets are one of our favorites.
