Is it supposed to keep saying "English, let's go shopping" over and over?

Please accept my apologies for the toy being at my granddaughter's home. It speaks Spanish and English to my knowledge, but I'm not sure what it says, and my son's house is all quiet at this hour, but the girls adore it. They make use of it in a variety of ways, including as a shopping cart.

What kind of batteries are required, and how many are required?

3 AA batteries are included in the package.

With a few tweaks, it's a fantastic toy
4/5

This shopping cart is exactly what I was looking for in a 6 month old's walk behind toy. For his age, my son is quite strong and can pull himself up on anything. He was given a VTech Sit-Stand. For Christmas, I received a Stand Learning Walker, which I adored. We liked the concept, but it tipped easily under his weight, and he was constantly leaning over it while standing behind it, trying to play with the toys on the front. br>br>Because this cart is a little light, the first time my son used it, he was cruising along, happy as can be to be walking, when he lost his balance and fell while still holding the handle. The play top popped off and hit him in the face as the cart tipped over on top of him. Because the parts are so light, he wasn't hurt at all, but he was certainly startled by it all. Since then, I've added weight to the bag by drilling a few holes and zip-tying it. attaching two small weights to the carriage's underside They won't take up any room in the cart, and there won't be any sharp edges for curious little fingers to explore. br>br>I also added some hardware to the top to keep it from easily falling off. The metal tabs I added catch on to the cart's lip or can be twisted out of the way to remove the top. I would have preferred not to use metal, but it was the most convenient option at the time. Maybe when I have more time (as if that ever happens with a baby), I'll replace the metal tabs with wooden ones. br>br>We adore this toy, but I deducted one star because of the required modifications. Because our son is tall and strong for his age, this toy may be suitable for your child in its current state. It has a nice wide stable base, locking back wheels, and the toys can be reached (but not activated) from behind the cart; my son loves the popcorn popper, which we like to turn on for him when he's standing behind the cart. br>br>A lot of fun to grow into. We're not sure if we'll use the multiple language options, but it's nice to know that English, Spanish, and French are available.

Yes, it will flip over if a baby tries to pull themselves up on it, so I placed a 7-pound weight inside the cart when my daughter was 8 months old and learning to stand
5/5

Inside the cart (below the lid), there is a pound weight that makes it very sturdy. She's almost ten months old now, and she still uses it to pull herself up and lean against while playing. I'll remove the weight when she no longer needs the cart to stand up so she can push it around and learn to walk. It's also worth mentioning that she enjoys playing with the activities on this cart and hasn't grown bored with it yet.

So many of the toys appeared to be things she'd soon tire of
5/5

I looked at a lot of different walker/push toys before deciding what I wanted to get for my daughter. She started cruising around the furniture, so I wanted to get her something she could push to get her walking without having to hold anything. So many of the toys appeared to be things she'd lose interest in once she learned to walk. This shopping cart was chosen because I thought it would be the most fun for her to play with as she grew older. br>She seems to enjoy it so far. She figured out how to keep the popcorn popping quickly, and she enjoys opening and closing the grilled cheese sandwich. She also enjoys opening the cart's flap, and I'm glad I went with the Shop 'n Cook cart instead of other push toys. br>br>The only minor issue I have is that it appears to be designed primarily for carpet pushing. The wheels don't turn very well because they don't grip the floor because we have hard wood floors. The wheels are made almost entirely of smooth plastic. When we take it upstairs to her room, however, they work perfectly on the carpet. I fixed the problem by slapping some hockey/athletic tape on the wheels, which improved their grip on our hard wood floors. Aside from that, the cart is ideal.

I bought this for my granddaughter who recently began walking
5/5

The cart is well-made and has a wide base, which is ideal for a toddler who is just learning to walk. The back wheels also have a lock feature that prevents them from turning, giving the tot more control. The electronic portion of the unit can be turned on or off with ease, but we usually leave it off. Many of my granddaughter's other toys are carried around in the cart. We leave the electronic component on the floor so that my granddaughter can easily access it and enjoy the sound of popping corn. Overall, this is one of our favorite toys. It is something I strongly suggest.

Petite babies will love it
5/5

When my granddaughter was about eight months old, I purchased this for her. At the time (pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-pre We put the cook top on the floor for her to play with and she enjoyed putting the pieces into and out of the bin in the back. She's quite small, so the cart is just right for her now that she's a walker at 10 months. I was concerned that she would tip it over, but she quickly figured out how to keep it steady. She has an elephant ride-on toy that can also be used as a walker, but it is currently too fast for her. The shopping cart that we've engaged on this walker has "brakes" on it, so it doesn't roll too fast on the carpet. Because she has trouble walking, the cart's sturdiness and the fact that it doesn't fly away from her are impressive and appreciated. She has a lot of fun with it. It seemed to me to be a good deal. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> My granddaughter is still playing with this toy at the age of two. It's now used every day as a pretend shopping cart, with groceries in the back and a baby doll in the front seat. I'd buy it again without question.
