This is something I'd use to shrink a dinghy any day.
These are what I use for earrings in my ClaryFeyArt Etsy shop, and they're fantastic! I enjoy every step of the process, and they almost never stick, which is probably due to the thick pencil I use. Prismacolor Premier is the program that I use.
They can only use sharpies if you get the unfrosted/unsanded kind. Remember to draw on the frosted side (backwards if using words) so you can flip it to the clear side once it's shrunk. br>br>These worked flawlessly for us. To encourage the kids to draw smaller drawings, I cut the sheets into fourths. When it comes to shrinking, the bigger it is, the more likely it is to have issues. We prefer to make them in the toaster oven so that we can keep an eye on them the entire time.
So, I've had Shrinky Dinks before, but only the clear ones (because that's all the store had), which I sanded myself and used in a similar way to these. br>br>As a result, I anticipated the following constraints:
- If you use too many layers, it will warp (this applies to both Posca and colored pencils)br>- br>br>But I was pleasantly surprised when a piece that used a lot of layers (it got away from me, I didn't have any of the right colors so I had to layer to get the right shades) not only 1) didn't warp, it straightened out just fine, and didn't curl in on and stick to itself 2) didn't have anywhere near as fuzzy a texture as I've had past pieces have! br>br>I mean, there was still some of it, but it didn't detract from the image in any way. Previous designs with the same number of layers, if not fewer, have looked far more jumbled than these. br>br>It was a pleasant surprise!br>br>I can't say for sure if the difference was due to the texture of the plastic (since I didn't sand this one myself) or something else, but so far I'm really enjoying how it reacts to multiple layers! If this trend continues, I may have to order these on a regular basis. br>br>They were smaller than I expected, but that's on me for not double-checking the size before ordering.

UFO mator should be taken into consideration. Ignore the weeds as well. chan. IF YOU'RE USING PAINT MARKS, MAKE SURE YOUR LAYER IS THIN. IF IT ISN'T, YOUR PAINT WILL CHIP AND IT WILL BE WEIRD WHEN IT SHRINKS. br>br>use resin or mod podge to finish these pieces. This stuff is far superior to regular shrinky dink paper. It absorbs the color so well, whereas the actual shrinky dink paper is waxy and doesn't absorb my color as well. I don't care if it's twice as expensive; it's well worth the money.
The information provided is incorrect. There is no frosted side; my adolescent children tried to make it work, but it still ripped.
Bake them for about 4 minutes instead of 2 minutes, as suggested in the reviews. I had a three-day weekend planned. inch circle shrank to about the size of a quarter, which was ideal for the purpose I purchased them. I used regular scented markers, which worked fine. Because these are for kid crafts, I'll be licking colored pencils.
