Using this kit for a school project was a great experience for my son. The directions were clear and the materials provided served as a positive influence on him. The impressions I received were outstanding. No base was provided, but we just cut a delivery box to shape, painted it with stone paint, and came up with a way to display it. I was very pleased with it. There is only one concern I have, and that is that the glue undercoat and I undercoat were completely dried out. The store had glue and paint that I had to buy.
