Would you be able to recommend something I can use for the palm trees' base? For my mechanical train setup, I'd like to use them in an environment with a natural landscape. ?

closest thing to a natural look would be to insert the trunk directly into the terrain board. If the board is foam, just push the trunk into it. In the case of wood or heavier materials, drill a small hole and glue them in place.

My only complaint is that they are weak, flimsy, and bend easily because I ordered them for a craft I was doing. However, they do work really well and look great. They met my expectations, but I am overall satisfied with their performance.
