Hello, your 8-year-old will enjoy this size. They are soft, light, and fit in the palm of my hand, despite the fact that my hand is larger than an 8-year-old's, so this size will work for your child.

In comparison to all other juggling balls I've used, these balls are extremely soft and squishy. They're made of a very thin cloth that encloses the contents loosely. The contents of other balls I've used are packed tightly to keep the shape of the ball. I can almost make the fingers of my thumb and forefinger touch when pinching a Speevers ball between my thumb and forefinger. Three of my juggling balls are shown in the photo; With equal force, I pressed my finger into the tops of each one. The right Speever deforms a lot more than the others. This type of ball may appeal to some people, but it does not appeal to me because it appears to be more difficult to make accurate throws when the ball deforms. br>br>I've only had them for one day, so I can't comment on how long they'll last, though the stitching doesn't appear to be of the highest quality. To me, this is top notch. Pulling gently on the seams opens them slightly, revealing the thread, and the stitches appear to be fairly widely spaced.
I'm a decent juggler, but these feel more like bean bags than juggling balls to me. I wanted something I could take in the car with me for those times when I'm away from home and want to do some juggling, and while these will suffice, I'd prefer something with more firmness and heft. It was a reasonable price. ~$20 - However, I was hoping for something more. I believe these balls were designed for "swuggling," or swimming while juggling, and while they may be useful for that, they aren't ideal for regular juggling. I wish there was a 3rd option. Because 3 seems too low and they don't quite make it to 4, I'm giving them a 5.
"All black juggling balls will look wicked in the air," I reasoned, oblivious to the fact that for a novice like me, being able to see the ball clearly in the air might be beneficial as well. I returned them, in a nutshell. br>However, this is only for the Speevers x-rays. The build quality on these things is excellent, so balls with a black/yellow contrast are recommended. The X- I just bought another set to progress to 4 ball and siteswap patterns because the balls are so nice. br>An x-ray is a type of x-ray that is used to detect abnormal The balls are slightly smaller in circumference, 10 grams lighter, and slightly more densely packed with material, making them feel more precise to throw and perfect in my hand (5'10" 155lbs). br>They appear to be indestructible and are settling in nicely. br>Get them both, if you can, because learning to manipulate objects of varying mass and shape will only improve your acuity with similar objects. By the way, this has had no impact on my review. These are good enough for me to write a review (my first after hundreds of Amazon purchases). br>I adore these little suckers, and learning to juggle has been a hugely rewarding experience. br>I wholeheartedly endorse both the product and the 256,798 times you'll drop them while attempting to learn it. You're going to have a great time, y'all.
I bought two sets of 120g xballs as my first juggling purchase a little more than a year ago. I liked the material, and all six balls were about the same weight, but I was disappointed that one set (black/pink) was looser than the others. I'd always make sure to leave one black/pink ball out whenever possible because it was more filled than the other set (black/white). br>br>Recently, I decided I wanted to try my hand at 7 balls, and I was debating whether or not to get a whole new set from a different brand, but on the spur of the moment, I ordered a third set of 120g xballs. I figured it would be much cheaper and faster, and I'd end up with 9 balls in total. I also naively hoped that the new set would be somewhere in the middle of the other two sets in terms of firmness/fill factor, giving me more options for 4-player games. Juggling with a total of six balls Unfortunately, the new set's (blue) balls are a lot floppier, box-wise. shaped, and by a significant margin smaller than the other two sets. It's easy to see in the photo and when juggling. br>br>These are too small and squishy for optimal three-ball juggling in my opinion. They'd be great for juggling 5/6/7, but I still don't have 5 that match very well out of 9 balls. Because that's what these were designed for, I'd only recommend them to someone who wants to juggle three while swimming or jogging.
My son is a college student studying kinesiology. Unfortunately, he, like the rest of the world, is confined to his home in quaratine with his family. br>Knowing all of the advantages of juggling (It improves your intelligence. ) It helps you concentrate better. the ability to concentrate br>It's also a great way to relieve stress! ), he figured it was worth a shot. As a result, his ancestor's mother offered to pay for it! He's mastered juggling with the Speevers set of three juggling balls in just a few days! br>Thank you for a fantastic product!.
These have been a lot of fun for me, and I think they're excellent for beginners. However, because they're more like hacky sacks than balls, their feel isn't completely consistent. The weight is the same, and they're well made, but one of mine has a noticeably looser filling, which squishes more in my hands as I juggle. It's not a huge deal, and I still think they're worth $20, but it can be a little distracting when I'm juggling.
The balls are of various sizes and weights, and they are extremely slick. If you can look past that, they look really cool and are very square, which I like, and the durability appears to be on par with expectations. I'm not disappointed, but I do wish there was a fix for how slick they are because it would drastically alter my opinion of them.
However, due to their weight, they will cause arm pain early on. Juggling with speevers, on the other hand, is a great way to get into excellent physical shape for only 15 minutes once you've gotten used to the weight. I'm covered in sweat 20 minutes after juggling with Speevers, as if I just got out of the gym. I enjoy the exercise they provide, as well as the fact that my hand-eye coordination improves as a result of them.
