I've bought similar products for my classroom in the past, but this is the first time I've bought this particular brand. br>br>The package was clearly used. Wrapped in packing tape after being torn up. To get to the snowballs, I had to cut the cylindrical plastic container open. br>br>The snowballs themselves appear to be of lower quality than those I've previously purchased; for example, two of them snagged while I was carefully removing them from the plastic container. I'll keep them because I don't use them often enough to justify ordering a new set. Buyer beware, however. br>br> Don't expect these to last more than a season if you give them as a gift.
However, it can become a little hairy! They're fantastic! I appreciate the company's willingness to replace any missing lids or snowballs! They were perfect for my daughter's Frozen birthday party! They were a big hit with the audience. br>Recent changes: These are still a good deal in my opinion! They have, however, collected every hair and speck of fuzz from the ground after being used twice. It takes a long time to clean them all up after they've been used.
These are something I'd buy a thousand times over! It was a lot of fun. I was concerned that they would only be used once and would become filthy, but they are fantastic. We have a golden retriever as well, and only a small amount of hair has stuck to their coats. This is a gift that will be used again and again. This year, Santa came out on top. They're soft enough to hit or be hit in the face of a toddler or preschooler, but heavy enough to get through. I'm blown away.
If you want to keep them clean, have your children wash their hands first and vacuum the room first because they pick up lint, dust, and fur. It's a lot less work than cleaning them afterwards. They're gentle, but they'll store your valuables in a safe place.
I bought them for our office's (weekly) snowball fight, and they're just the right weight for a solid throw. br>br>Hour after hour of nonstop entertainment!.
Both plastic containers were broken, smashed, and open when I ordered two as gifts. So I counted the balls and discovered that there were six of them missing. I attempted to repair the container, but it appeared shoddy and as if I were attempting to re-use it. I threw them in my toddler's room and let him play with them because I was giving them as a present. To the other two children, I gave a gift card.
having a good time all around The kids are always on the lookout for a stray snowball to fly into the room. To avoid yukking up anything, there are no throwing rules in the kitchen or bathroom.
The indoor snowball fight was a lot of fun for us. They're soft and "crunchy" like a real snowball, but they don't make your hands cold. The only disadvantage is that if they fall on the floor, they collect lint and dust, which is easy to remove but still annoying.
