It was a lot of fun getting everyone to participate in this one! Without a doubt, I would recommend it. It's a little delicate, and ours broke, but after our money was refunded, the company sent us a replacement that works perfectly fine. The excellent customer service is greatly appreciated.
It's funny enough on its own, but I added a light-up laughing head, which, combined with the spider jumping out (oh man! ), makes it even more hilarious. ) that made everyone's pants fall down. It was a good time, a good time. S, I placed a second order for my daughter to receive!.
Very low cost. This item does not appear to be what it claims to be. They show a better-built box in the site's description; save your money and pay the lower price because that's the box you'll get anyway. They have a higher quality of wood and finish. This is a piece of unfinished plywood that is very inexpensive. Maybe $3 is a good price. 00 at the most.
I placed two orders for this item - the first time and the second time. When it first arrived, I was eager to open the box and try it. When I slid the top of the box - The product was completely useless. The spider was stuck in the bottom of the box, and the string that was supposed to pull it out had broken. So - Instead of getting my money back, I thought to myself, "OK, must be the oddball one with a defect. " I requested that they be re-evaluated. I really wanted to try it, so please send me a new one. Today I received a new one. And then it happened again. This time, I'm asking for a refund because the product's quality control is poor! DO NOT BUY! I'd give it a 0 out of 5 star rating if I could!.
The material is good, real wood, but the top board and insert piece are both too small, making it useless.
I believe this problem has been resolved, but if the string does slip out of the staple that holds the end of it in place, anyone who can change a lightbulb should be able to repair it. Sending it back would require far more effort than simply reattaching the string!.
One of the pegs inside had broken, and pieces were scattered throughout the box. It arrived on my sister's birthday, and I was disappointed to discover that it was broken. Thankfully, I have my own woodshop and know what I'm doing. After undoing the string and cutting a new peg to glue in place, I was able to fix it in 20 minutes. I paid more for this one after learning that it was not made in China, despite the fact that it says so on the box. Made in China, of course! I'd give it one star if it weren't for the fact that I've already scared someone. Don't buy it unless you're prepared to put some effort into repairing it. There have been numerous reports of this item arriving damaged. Isn't it possible to have some sort of quality control? Oh yea. China is the source of this product.
I gambled and paid the full $29 for this exact box. It was a complete waste of thirty dollars. The packaging is in good condition. sufficient, especially in comparison to the ostensibly inferior knock-off offs. Most of the time, the door simply slides open with ease (hence the one star). If you have to show people how to open it, you're basically announcing that something is hidden inside the box, which takes away the element of surprise that makes this gag toy so funny. I tried it a few times and discovered that my personal preference was to pull it open just enough to see the spider resting there without being thrown out. This could be cute (though I'm not sure for what- It's not for the faint of heart) for around $5. 00- And that's assuming free shipping. Even that, in my opinion, is a waste of five dollars because it is such a non-starter. toy. It'll be tossed in the trash or donated to a thrift store as soon as my grandchildren see it and show no interest, which will be very soon.
