Although they are for children, they are also therapeutic and fun It was so much fun pulling the colored shapes and linking them together, making shapes, numbers, and alphabet letters, and jumping in and out of a huge figure 8 that we built on my I used one set each, but I'm giving one set to my sister.
Not sure how to give a star rating by warmth for these popping pipes, unless they mean the quality of the colors, which is much more important. I think these are great for the price. As a figit toy/ stress reliever, these were given to my 7 year old daughter who has an autism diagnosis, and she just loves pulling them apart and hearing the continuous popping noise any time she is feeling tense or There might be some inconsistency in the textures of the pipes if there's just one standard one. Children who like sensory experiences usually like a variety of textures, along with those who like auditory experiences. Both of those are important to mention because, yes, there is a variety of bright colours, but there is no change in the texture or sound, so the novelty very quickly wears off. Moreover, I would have liked them to be thicker so that they could sustain a child pulling, twisting, and building with them without tearing them. After a week or so, a few of them began to distort so much that they either split open or did not fit well with the rest of the assemblage.
When I search for an alternative to my canister vacuum hose my children love to sing into, every time I vacuum, I came across these! Eventually I found something similar to that hose, and I thought there must be others like it. In spite of several weeks of playing this game this is still a favorite of my four The year is Provides entertainment for children and adults alike Their favorite activities include making letter shapes, making large chains with beads and talking into them, and putting in marbles and listening to the sound they make. It is great that there are so many in the box, since I have to share them between my My kids insist on putting the tubes back in the box after play, and so far they have survived, with one or two misshaped tubes, but that's no problem for them. It wouldn't matter to me if I had to buy another set. A gift of this would be appreciated as well.
Every time we go on a trip, we buy one for each kid. Kids have enjoyed playing with this toy for hours while waiting in lines at theme parks. Many happy stretches in the car have been spent with it too. If a child breaks, the only problem is that you do not have a backup for them. In the future, we will travel with a few extra items In the long run, even though they can stand up to the wear and tear of hard play, they do eventually wear out from repetitive They provide a lot of entertainment for kids. They are used as telescopes, trumpets, snack chutes, bracelets, leashes for stuffed animals, swords, accordions, telephones, etc.
We use them to pretend to have a You can make a necklace, a bracelet, a halo, etc. , by connecting their ends The tube allows our voices to travel down while we speak into them. It's nice that the kids hear the sound when each segment opens or closes. It is not yet clear to me that you can spin a kiddo or parent overhead in a circle in order to make a whistling sound (because that would be extremely dangerous). There have been a few parents who have ordered a box of these after I left since their kids loved them so In addition, they are a good price, and I'll even slip one or two into kid's gift bags if there's no charge! It states in the packaging that it is for ages 5 and up, to be used with supervision, to be thrown out if signs of wear or tear appear, and not to be chewed.
All my kids had trouble with was that it dented when they squeezed too tight, which caused retraction to be affected. The problem was easily rectified with a long marker or by using the handle of a kitchen utensil to pop the part out and it was back to normal! I can see these being great grab bags for kids with sensory needs. They can also be a great grab bag for teachers.
I'm having fun. I enjoy them very much! It appears simple, but the simplicity is deceptive. I especially like the versatility of these because my twin granddaughters of six are just so enthralled by them. I was not able to understand all the praise for the noise the units make when I was reviewing and purchasing them. Now that I see it, I understand. Having fun is the best part. These aren't specially designed for individuals with special needs, but the girls love them and use them creatively all the time. Your kids might use them in a variety of ways, so don't think you can think of all the possibilities. No matter how hard you try, it will never work. It is amazing to see how imaginative they can be. These are fantastic! I highly recommend them!.
We are really pleased with how they turned out. A thick plastic holds well to shapes and is easy to work with. Their length is quite long, and the sound is fantastic. We made funny hats and necklaces using these today along with obstacle courses for the kids to play with.
